Who's the better FIGHTER? Pacquiao or Mayweather?

I'm not sold on the Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter we have seen in the last 20 years.. He looks like a lighter Micheal Nunn with a bigger mouth IMO. Pac has more heart than can be measured. Sure on paper it looks like Floyd will run circles around Pac, but thats why they fight for real, right? To decide once and for all. Just because you have an unblemished record doesn't mean you can't lose or be hurt in a fight. Just remember that Ladies and Gentlemen.

Floyds not even on Barreras level, he hasn't even fought anyone as good as barrera in my opinion. Whats your opinion on that matter? Does Oscar or Corrales posses better offense or defense then Barrera?

PBF hasn't faced God, but that doesn't change the fact that he will KO JMM, and school Pac.

I can't believe how close this poll is. I'm a Pac fan and hate Floyd because of his attitude and I will be pulling for Pac, but Floyd is obviously the better overall boxer, unless you haven't followed and studied boxing for long. The only thing Pac has an edge on PBF is in explosiveness.

How can anybody think that Pac is better in the Ring Generalship department? Floyd is better than any active boxer in Ring Generalship. If Floyd wanted to be an explosive fighter he could be just as explosive as Manny with his speed, power and accuracy, but he's too crafty defensively to do that and when they fight it WILL no doubt be on Mayweather's terms! Pac's only chance to win is if Floyd has an off night and he's able to somehow overwhelm him which is hard to do against a solid defensive fighter who's best at counter punching.

I disagree with you on this point Johnny Rebel. Mayweather cannot be an explosive fighter because he avoids going toe to toe with fighters with power. He did it when he was lighter but he cannot or will not do it in a welterweight or Jr Welter fight. I still think his chin is questionable. Mosley, Cotto, or Pac can check it and Mayweathers heart all in the same night. Pac-man has some intangible talent that you can't put on paper. He will beat PBF.

Ring generalship means trapping people on the ropes or being able to walk down/track down a faster fighter. Laying on the ropes is a style, fine, but it is not ring generalship. In my opinion the whole concept should be removed as it is too vaporous.

Thats the problem, people think just cause Mayweather has an unblemished record hes somewhat of a God in boxing. Dont get me wrong Floyd does have skills but seriously, his team and advisors get the perfect fights for him. If he was up to it he would prove to the boxing world that he belongs amongst the discussion of the ATG and fight fighters like Cotto, Marg, SSM, PW, Clottey..... Dont let the "0" fool you now.
