I look at it this way: You can be the best at anything but sooner or later someone will come along who will be your conqueror. The Pacman will "Surpass" Floyd's greatness in the ring once they meet and his victory over Mayweather will be the "Crowning ***el" of his legacy in the sport of boxing. PBF will not stop the Pacman's "Greatness" as a fighter. JAT

On papper, PBF is better boxer. Manny is a better fighter.

I disagree with you on this point Johnny Rebel. Mayweather cannot be an explosive fighter because he avoids going toe to toe with fighters with power. He did it when he was lighter but he cannot or will not do it in a welterweight or Jr Welter fight. I still think his chin is questionable. Mosley, Cotto, or Pac can check it and Mayweathers heart all in the same night. Pac-man has some intangible talent that you can't put on paper. He will beat PBF.

I hope Pac does beat Floyd but he's going to be a heavy underdog IMO. I give Pac about a 35-40% chance of pulling off the upset, even less though if Pac has to fight Floyd at WW.

Floyd was explosive when he was younger and lighter, and I believe if he's put to the test (nobody at the heavier weights has been able to do this yet) and gets behind in a fight he will fight explosively again before he allows himself to lose, provided that he's still hungry and not just fighting for the money now. Can Pac put Floyd to the test? I sure hope so!

It depends on what you mean by better. Better boxer? Better puncher? Better for fan excitement?

If you want to go with the better boxer route, then I'd say Mayweather. Not too many in the sport today matches his natural and technical ability. If you are wondering about better puncher, then pound-for-pound I would probably go with Manny Pacquiao. I would also go with Pacquiao for more exciting fighter.
