Mayweather lands more clean shots than Pacquiao. Pacquiao just throws a **** load of haymakers, 100 haymakers, 1 of them are going to hit. Pacquiao is WAY more aggressive than Mayweather. Mayweather controls the game more than Pacquiao does, reason why people hate his style. Pacquiao has no defense, enough said.

Before I get some dumbass saying Pacquiao has defense. NO HE DOESN"T. In-and-out flurries consisting of 1000 punches, is not a defense. Go watch Pacquiao-Marquez, defense is not blocking with your chin.

It's called Clean EFFECTIVE Punching. Manny's shots were hella more effective on DLH and Ricky than Gayweather's.

I'll give Ring Generalship and Defense to Gayweather, but the first two categories carry the most weight, there for when it comes to FIGHTING, Pacquiao is the better of the two.

floyd wins this poll. he is the obvious better all around fighter, and it's not even close. watch how floyd uses manny's pace and aggression against manny. he'll dictate manny's pace, i guarantee you. why? he is the better ring general, he fights around the ring much better than manny does. he fights in the pocket way better than manny. he is much more accurate than manny is. his defense is obviously better.

watch the compubox stats--manny is going to throw many punches? not in this fight--because he knows floyd is going to counter him off of the block and catch him slipping. that's a great defense to offense ratio and when floyd was active in 2007, he led the combubox stats as far as punches landed vs punches missed on him, he was way in the lead..manny wasn't even 2nd. this shopws me that floyd not only had the best offense but the best defense also. he makes punchers miss and takes advantage of them. and make no mistake about it, floyd can be aggressive and bully fighters. he has done this before and may do it to manny. floyd does have that gatti-killer instinct, don't forget that gatti floyd, that mother****er will bully manny.

Mayweather does everything you're supposed to do in boxing better than anyone else. HIT AND NOT BE HIT. That is Floyd Mayweather. He never gets hit. At all. That's why he's the best fighter on the planet. Pacquiao got hit plenty of times by Hatton in just two rounds. It's different styles, of course, but Mayweather's style is the best boxing style we've seen in the last 20 + years.

lol to whoever gave Pacquiao the edge in ring generalship. If Mayweather is in the ring, he is controlling the fight. The only time I've ever seen him not in complete control was the second half of the Castillo fight.

Judging by the competition that both have had and the way they have won, Pac has been better (without even considering how he has beat so many guys that are way bigger than him).

My goodness everytime I think of this fight my mouth waters. It'll be bigger than any fight........it will bring boxing back really because Manny will definitely make this exciting whether Floyd wants to or not. It will be exciting, have the whole world watching, and be a legendary fight.
