Some people still can't accept Pac for what he has blossomed into.

However, I think it will be even bigger against Pac because Im telling you that he seems wide open for it. I could see Floyd landing it 100 times. The thing I noticed was that there plan was to counter Hatton with the right hook everytime he swung because Hatton always drops his hands when he swings, e****ally his left. Floyd doesnt do that. When he throws the straight right, he keeps his left hand up on the side of his face so that counter right hook wont land and Floyd will be catching him all night. Southpaws are vulnerable to it but for some reason he seems super vulnerable to it and I bet thats how Floyd will end it. He will land them all day and when Pac starts figuring it out and keeping his hands up then Floyd will go to his body. I just think that Floyd is the wrong wrong wrong matchup for him in the same exact way that Shane was wrong for Margarito and Pac was wrong for Hatton
i don't mind all the talk that hatton wasn't that good and this and that then belittle pac's work because of how he exploited his weakness and made him look like an amateur.
what i disagree with your analysis or opinion is no one else nor floyd could execute that same game plan or take 10 rounds for him to knockdown hatton in a not so great fashion. when it comes down to floyd vs pac they will have different game plans for the fight and hatton nor odlh fights will matter.
both fighters are obviously able to be hit/hurt. i say close fight. if pac gets countered by a great counter puncher then lights out for pac. if pac can be aggressive while not being sloppy with his punches then floyd is going to get the BIG 1L!

I use to think that Pac had grown as an all around fighter but he hasnt. He's still basically the same guy and thats why JMM will always give him hell. No way he kills JMM at 140 like people think. He's still pretty sloppy and doesnt have great fundementals. He has good footwork when it comes to doing what he wants to do but his footwork is horrible if you make him do something else. Hatton just played right into his hands. People think that he's so different from the guy that fought JMM but look at who he's fought. He fought Diaz, Oscar, and Hatton. 3 guys with horrible skills at this stage of there career who all were coming right at him with no D.
Its a completely different fight with Floyd. It would be exactly like Pac fighting JMM except Floyd's bigger, stonger, faster, has a much better defense, is taller, and even though the haterz dont want to beleive it, he's actually smarter and is a better pure boxer then JMM. Trust me, Im not a hater. I actually was worried that Pac may give him hell. I thought because Pac was a Southpaw and all this that he may give Floyd real trouble. Ive always said that the only way to beat Floyd is to either be so much bigger then him that all he can do is pot shot or you have to be a Southpaw who catches him. I thought Pac's combo of size, speed, power, and Southpaw style may give Floyd serious trouble. I saw Zab land a few shots early until Floyd figured him out and I saw Chop catch him and land a few shots but guess what? Zab, Chop, and Mitchell are all way way way better pure boxers then Pac. I thought he had grown but he hasnt. Floyd would eat him up and it would be easy. People are insane when they say that Floyd wont want the fight. I bet he wants that fight more then anything because he knows that he will dominate him and I think Roach is even worried about it.
Seriously though, I think not only does Floyd win but he wins easily and makes Pac look like a straight amature. It would be like all the JMM highlights against Pac but Floyd will be doing it non stop all fight because his D is superior to JMM and he's faster and stronger. He'll outclass Pac so bad and then stop him. This will be a mega event and its going to end by a shocking one sided KO with Pac looking like he wasnt even close to being in Floyd's league. He's still sloppy, off balance, and basic with his punches. Theyre so basic and if you think that stuff that works on David Diaz, Hatton, and a zombied Oscar will work on Floyd then you are in for the shock of your life. He'll beat Pac so bad that it will make him darn near legendary in the mainstream. As good as I think that Floyd is, the Pac fight will make him look even better because of there styles and skill level. I added this in a later post but its one of the main reasons why I wrote this and that is to say that Pac is wide open for the straight right. Southpaws are open to it but he's way way open to it and he cant counter with that right hook because Floyd keeps his left hand up unlike Hatton.
Floyd will land that punch a million times in this fight and make the crowd saw ooh every time. There are going to be a ton of ooh punches in this fight from Floyd because the difference in pure skill levels. You will see his punches so clean while Pac will mostly land grazing stuff at best. I think it will be like a poor mans or rich mans MAB-Naz depending on which way you look at it.

Someone takes the time to post up a detailed opinion/analysis and all half the board can do is moan that it's too long and bull**** (some without even reading it, probably because it would take them an hour to read 4 paragraphs)
If you're going to criticise someone's POV then at least post up why you think they are wrong.
Maybe everyone should stick to one word posts followed by half a page of sig pics
Personally I think DLT isn't too far off the mark. Pac will run into and get countered by PBF's rights the same way he did against JMM, but he won't hit PBF as much. UD or a late stoppage for PBF, ASSUMING he is at least 90% of the fighter he was before he retired.

LoL, I love how people make these posts just like they did about Hatton. Hatton's gonna be too big for Manny. He's gonna do what nobody has done to him, smother him, throwing tons of punches at Manny. Manny won't be able to keep up with his workrate or take his power, etc. Where have those people gone? Same **** with this Floyd talk. It's just the new wall people setup who hate on Manny. Just like Morales was before Marquez, and Marquez was before Oscar. A bunch of walls that people make out to be the next best thing against Manny, yet he's shown time and time again. Only once Floyd is finally wiped out, will you guys believe.

I read DLT's book, and he made some very good points. I can see where he is coming from.
But, i really do feel that folks just can't accept that Manny is a very good fighter/boxer now. He has grown so much in his fight game, it's not even funny.
On A Side Note: The first Manny fight with JMM was scored wrong(we all know that though) Manny should have won. The second, most want to say it is the boxing of JMM that gives Manny problems, to a point, yes...But, I think the thing that gives Manny the most trouble with JMM, is the fact that Manny loves to admire his work after every good shot. That is the wrong approch against JMM. After every good shot, JMM throws about eight straight punches, this seems to always bother Manny against JMM. Does anyone else notice this?
