Dlt--i have always argued that floyd mayweather could retire and still come back and be a better fighter when he aged than roy jones was when he slacked off because of floyd's fundamentals--so you know i agree with everything you're saying. Floyd mayweather is going to crush pacman. But to make it an intriuging fight, you're going to have pacman fans and floyd detractors say what they say--1nce again i will stress that floyd mayweather will retire undefeated--he is our special fighter--our rare breed of fighter. All of the things you touched on dlt was dead on.

Pacman is sloppy, and with as good of a fighter as he is--fighting floyd is a cold dose of reality--that is a testament to the uncanny skillset floyd possesses. Them man is ****ing brilliant in that ring and his overall skillset and savvy in that ring is on a level of it's own--he will make pacman and marquez look childlike in that ring--mark my ****ing words--it's okay for people to love pac and pick him because of their passion for him--he's an amazing fighter with a huge heart--a humble guy--good spirit--but floyd mayweather jr is the truth in that ring--those who know me and how i post will know that i have already given the reasons why floyd will crush pacman...

I have given so many breakdowns of floyd's style, because i have followed this kid's career for too many years now, and he put his brilliance together at a young age--he has always fought like he has--even in the loympics--his style is one in a billion--he is that good in the ring--he will dust marquez and then go on to crush pacman--and no disrespect to pac--he's amazing. He has improved in the ring--he has a good bouncy footwork--he throws hard and fast, he has learned to feint on his lead left hands...but floyd has been doing all of this "with flawless balance and fluidity" most of all his boxing career--as an amateur and professional...pacman is in for a long but short night...sorry jmm, i am looking past you because i know what floyd will do to you...you are also a great fighter--but floyd will dust you. Get ready for him...

          "Pacman is sloppy".

          Holy. ****ing. ****.

Sometimes I ask myself why I come here.

If Floyd happens to lose to someone who's "sloppy", it makes his entire career look like a complete joke.

If Floyd wins, he deserves no credit for beating a sloppy, amateurish fighter.

I believe that the Mighty "Super-Pac-Attack" fight plan will put a damper on poor Floyd's performance should they meet. The Genius of Trainer Roach, Michael Moorer, Buboy Fernandez and the entire Team Pacquiao will once again come to the fore and the Pacman will execute the plan with pure brilliance in the ring. There is no stopping him now. Poor Mayweather will be humbled. JAT

I'm no nuthugger but I truly appreciate the kind of fighter Mayweather is. I enjoy watching the art of not getting hit in combination with the art of giving precise accurate punches. Pacman is no slouch either but he isn't in Mayweather's league.

I personally believe the Pacman hype machine is in full force and deservedly so but, with all due respect, the hype is going overboard. The Pacman hasn't quite improved as much as most would like to think. Hes going to need to be at his very best to stand a chance on beating Mayweather.

I use to think that Pac had grown as an all around fighter but he hasnt. He's still basically the same guy and thats why JMM will always give him hell. No way he kills JMM at 140 like people think. He's still pretty sloppy and doesnt have great fundementals. He has good footwork when it comes to doing what he wants to do but his footwork is horrible if you make him do something else. Hatton just played right into his hands. People think that he's so different from the guy that fought JMM but look at who he's fought. He fought Diaz, Oscar, and Hatton. 3 guys with horrible skills at this stage of there career who all were coming right at him with no D.

Its a completely different fight with Floyd. It would be exactly like Pac fighting JMM except Floyd's bigger, stonger, faster, has a much better defense, is taller, and even though the haterz dont want to beleive it, he's actually smarter and is a better pure boxer then JMM. Trust me, Im not a hater. I actually was worried that Pac may give him hell. I thought because Pac was a Southpaw and all this that he may give Floyd real trouble. Ive always said that the only way to beat Floyd is to either be so much bigger then him that all he can do is pot shot or you have to be a Southpaw who catches him. I thought Pac's combo of size, speed, power, and Southpaw style may give Floyd serious trouble. I saw Zab land a few shots early until Floyd figured him out and I saw Chop catch him and land a few shots but guess what? Zab, Chop, and Mitchell are all way way way better pure boxers then Pac. I thought he had grown but he hasnt. Floyd would eat him up and it would be easy. People are insane when they say that Floyd wont want the fight. I bet he wants that fight more then anything because he knows that he will dominate him and I think Roach is even worried about it.

Seriously though, I think not only does Floyd win but he wins easily and makes Pac look like a straight amature. It would be like all the JMM highlights against Pac but Floyd will be doing it non stop all fight because his D is superior to JMM and he's faster and stronger. He'll outclass Pac so bad and then stop him. This will be a mega event and its going to end by a shocking one sided KO with Pac looking like he wasnt even close to being in Floyd's league. He's still sloppy, off balance, and basic with his punches. Theyre so basic and if you think that stuff that works on David Diaz, Hatton, and a zombied Oscar will work on Floyd then you are in for the shock of your life. He'll beat Pac so bad that it will make him darn near legendary in the mainstream. As good as I think that Floyd is, the Pac fight will make him look even better because of there styles and skill level. I added this in a later post but its one of the main reasons why I wrote this and that is to say that Pac is wide open for the straight right. Southpaws are open to it but he's way way open to it and he cant counter with that right hook because Floyd keeps his left hand up unlike Hatton.

Floyd will land that punch a million times in this fight and make the crowd saw ooh every time. There are going to be a ton of ooh punches in this fight from Floyd because the difference in pure skill levels. You will see his punches so clean while Pac will mostly land grazing stuff at best. I think it will be like a poor mans or rich mans MAB-Naz depending on which way you look at it.
DLT, your a great poster and all... bring good points, but could I please just ask you to narrow the posts a bit smaller, and put it a bit more in brief... I mean I don't mind reading large posts occasionally but too a limit.

No disrespect, just saying you got a very good view on things and people would respect it even more if you put them shorter because some people would just think "can't be arsed to read all of that!".

At least you back your posts up with an explanation though like Reed said, a lot of people on here don't!

then maybe you should learn how to answer yourself and leave here. pacman is sloppy. so is shane mosley imo, that's not taking anything away from their styles. they've been successful with it, but you cannot be sloppy when fighting floyd, he'll make you look really ******. again, that is a testament to floyd's skillset, not really manny's. he is a very good fighter--but floyd could very well be the most gifted technician this sport has ever seen--if floyd loses to pacman--very good for pacman--when floyd beats pacman--i will rub it in so many people's faces who claim this fight will either be close or a pacman victory...pacman is not floyd's roberto duran or antonio tarver...or jake lamotta...or joe frazier...or buster douglass...i don't see a fighter out there who is that to floyd..that's how ****ing gifted that mother****er is...deal with it and stop whining like a little sissy *****...
