Zab was angry that they reduced his purse from $3 mil to $1 mil after the Baldo loss. So, he refused to participate in any promotions, conf calls, interviews, anything.

He did the initial presser, and then disappeared until fight night.

Besides, i wouldn't talk **** to Zab's face. He is so unstable, that he might take a swing at me and hurt his hand. He is the type of dude to kill a fight.

Notice there is no announcement from hbo yet. The figures are in, and arum has requested that the numbers not be published.

as a boxing fan, i want the sales of this fight to be as low as possible.

that way, pac can give mayweather 50-50 which i think won't be possible if pac hatton did more than floyd hatton....

i don't know why so many people care. i for one aint gonna get a penny out of that pot so **** that...

THE MANNY Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton showdown is now a certified pay-per-view monster hit.

Exceeding everyone’s expectations, the fight—which Pacquiao won by knockout late in the second round to wrest Hatton’s International Boxing Organization light welterweight crown—drew anywhere from 1.6 million to 2 million PPV buys, according to the USA Today newspaper.

The fight’s co-promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, had earlier projected sales of about 800,000 due to the world financial crisis.

Initial sales reports from cable firms, however, indicated that PPV buys was already over the 1.6 million mark, which would make the Pacquiao-Hatton duel the fourth biggest ever in boxing annals.
