Yup. Even in the Hatton fight, Pac was noticeably troubled/stunned/surprised by a few of Hattons punches.

I don't see this being a walk in the park for either fighter.

Boniall dont be silly you got it the wrong way around. We should assume Cotto wont be easy for Pac, like DLH and Hatton was.
We will assume Cotton will give Pac a good tough fight but the reality is that Cotto will probably be stopped mid to late on.

I do think Cotto will beat Clottey in a tough fight, but as a boxing fan, I think Pac-Mayweather is the best fight for boxing. #1 vs #1. You can't beat that and the ppv numbers would break some records. I would like to see Cotto fight Mosley in the fall. The winner would be in prime position for a Mayweather or Pacman fight.

I think Clottey is a very live dog, but I just feel Cotto will win a close fight (maybe a split decision). He's got a little more motivation after the Margarito "loss". I don't consider that underestimating Clottey. Just a gut feeling.

I'm relieved to read that. It was all that underestimating of Cotto that broke down Zab (declared it would only take 5 rounds to get Cotto out of there so didn't train as hard as he could've) and got him by Mosley (who was damn sure he was just gonna steamroll Miguel's chin) in the fights at 147.

Pacman has definitely shown he should be respected. Fighters shouldn't take any opponent within a weight class or 2 lightly unless they're proven to be slow as molasses, chinny, AND feather fisted.
