Cotto is a risky fight for Manny. He is at his prime, hits far harder than Hatton, has a good jab (which is essential if you plan on beating Pac) and has a better chin.

I love Pac to bits, but he's dicing with danger messing with big guys like Cotto. No matter the name nor the reputation, a fighter can become old very quickly when he moves up weight.

If Pac wants to fight Mayweather and become a billionaire (god knows how much money he'd be paid) he could and should wait for him to beat JMM and then sign the contract. There is no need to take a risky fight like Cotto. I congratulate Manny on his willingness to prove himself against the best - but sometimes you've got to think of your own health.

We will assume Cotton will give Pac a good tough fight but the reality is that Cotto will probably be stopped mid to late on.
that is the proper observation to give.
oscar and ricky move faster and with quicker hands than cotto...yet they can't find manny.
cotto will be a lot easier to hit but he's got better defense.
manny can box all nyt and just pile up points.
quite hard for midget manny to chop down big miguel.....
pacman by UD....if he escapes cotto's power punches..... simple logic

That is why you have to respect Manny. For him even considering this fight knowing how far he has come up is ****ing ballsy. Win or lose you have to give him credit. This is the type of thing that truely will place him as an ATG down the road. The dangerous path he is taking.

                  Manny in eight

Cotto has no punching power. All his KOs have come late by accumulation of punishment. He couldn't kayo Margarito with all those precise punches that landed, Mosley did. I have seen however, Cotto in trouble before but his opponents did not know how to finish him off and he came back to win those times. If Manny puts him in trouble he will be able to finish him off. Manny in eight rounds by TKO. His speed will be too much for the slower Cotto.

If you think Cotto doesn't hit hard you're being silly. Sure, he aint Julian Jackson or Gerald McClellan or Nigel Benn - but he doesn't have feathers for fists either.

                      for promo reason's

This is just to lure people to back the fight so its gets made and sell's PPV. I wont watch this should be a walk in the park for Cotto He is a true welter weight knows how to box and move around the ring trade when he has to. That's if he can get past Clottey though
