This would be a tough fight for Cotto but at the end I have no doubt he would be Manny. Cotto is a very patient fighter when he wants to be, he would let Pac come at him and counter him slowly breaking him down. He would then turn up the heat and pressure Pac stopping him in 8 or 10.

let's wait to see if cotto can get past clottey, before we start talking about pac-man.......
this is where i get a little skeptical about boxing, arum is already talking like its a done deal that pac-man gets to fight cotto next....i'm very very concerned about clottey getting a fair chance if this goes the distance and he waits for the judges to hand down their verdict....let's face it a cotto loss would put a very big monkey wrench in arum's plan and to boxing....as far as i'm concerned the only way clottey is winning the fight is if he knocks cotto KO.....
so here we have it, arum is willing to put his two prize possessions in the ring against each other, cotto's puerto ricans following will not be affected by a loss to pac-man.......and if pac-man wins, he's that more of a star......according to roach he'd like to see pac-man, fight two more mega fights......i guess 1 is cotto and the other will be floyd or mosley......
one thing is for sure there's alot more excitement in boxing right now, thank God for these little guys

every time i see COTTO inside the ring, its like boxer trying to box on a brick wall... imagine margarito with plaster in his gloves took him 10 rounds to make cotto quit or finished him... i dont think pacman can hurt cotto real bad. like the way pacman did to delahoya.(rearranging pretty boy face)
at fight night cotto weigh 155 to 160 lbs.
pacman weigh 148 lbs on delahoya fight.
if cotto demolish clottey, i dont see pacman winning the fight with cotto.

What's ridiculous is Pacman fans brushing off Cotto as another 3-8 round easy kill. You guys seem to be focusing on The Cotto-Margo war and thinking that if Margo with his "lack of speed" got Cotto, Pacman will make it so simple. It doesn't work that way.
Cotto will find a way to put steady effective pressure on Pac, he will also bring the heat to him like JMM with much more power. You guys are fools if you think that hopping style will work on Cotto, sure he will get hit, but so will Pac, and Pac is no Margarito, I've been observing him in his "path of destruction", every single one of his opponents has connected (with the exception of Hatton, whom still did surprise Pac once in that short joke of a fight), JMM has rocked him, David Diaz when he connected made Pac do his little hopping out of the way to the other side of the ring move, de la Hoya, in the 5-6 punches that connected made him do so too...
Pac will have to run more than Mayweather in all his fights combined to keep Cotto at bay. You guys say Cotto has no speed, I suggest you watch the Mosley fight and the Jennings fight, sure he was a pushover, but he was a damn quick pushover, especially at moving in and running the hell away ala Pac style.

You can read it in their comments, how they are talking all this stuff about a potential Pac fight and then its "but we are not looking past Clottey" I bet his camp is salivating over an opportunity to fight him, the money would be tremendous.

That being said, I still think that Cotto is too strong for Pac and Cotto takes it.

Cotto could not beat Pacman, I just can't see that happening. I understand Cotto is bigger but Pac will set a pace that Cotto won't be able to keep up with and we all know Pac can go 12 rounds at the same pace very eaily.
I don't think Cotto can beat Pac or Mayweather, both would do the same thing to him. Too fast and too much stamina.

It will be a tough fight for Cotto, but I think he can pull it off. Pacmans domination of Hatton was because Hatton was constantly wide open for shots. He got caught on the way in and GTFKO! Cotto is a more technical boxer but can pull off the win. If the fight is signed and done it will be an awesome matchup. I like both boxers equally and this is boxing at its best. 2007 and 2008 were great years, but I think 2009 is going to explode!! LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!

hey brah,...the plaster (of paris) is the same material used in making casts for fractured bones. the source mineral of POP is "gypsum" Ca2SO4(2H2O). dry it is pliable, it only hardens when it gets wet, maybe 7-8 rounds.
