much like the speed of Mosely and Judah... how do you neutralize speed? with timing... and Cotto has done that over and over again - Cotto adjusts very well to the speed of his opponent. It will still be a very challenging fight for both fighters.

it will definetly be a hard fight for MANNY, but at a catch weight of 143-144..Manny has a chance as far as power goes..If its at 147 it will definetly be an advantage for COTTO. That southpaw style might give COTTO trouble in the early rounds, your right about COTTO adjusting to the speed of his opponent. But like I said before, wait to see who wins the MAYWEATHER/MARQUEZ fight. Mayweather wins MANNY should fight him first, then Cotto, then MARQUEZ. IF MARQUEZ some how pulls it off, Manny should fight Cotto, then Mayweather, then Marquez.

I'd like to see Williams make 140-144, I really would. And if he did, he'd be far too weight drained, like he was in the first Quintana fight.

i know i was exaggeratin, i was makin an example.. No honestly i would wait a couple more years to see this fight because obviously Pac is not ready for Cotto, but Pac dilusional fans make me angry and makes me wanna see the fight, id rather see Cotto vs Mosley 2 or Cotto vs Floyd, but ey, if they both agree then i wouldnt mind watching the fight at all, so i can see how Pac reacts to a real Elite.

PACQUIAO doesn't have a couple of years that guy is 30yrs old, he's been fighting for pro for at least 15 yrs...PAC fans are not dilusional, we just think that at a catch weight PACQUIAO stands a chance. I bet you said the same thing before the DE LA HOYA AND THE HATTON FIGHT, and time and time again PACQUIAO prove the doubters wrong. What you don't understand about MANNY is he really fights for his country, the same fire in his heart that TITO TRINIDAD had earlier in his career, COTTO is a great boxer, but doesn't have the same fire in his heart as TITO does. Bottomline is at a catch weight, MANNY has a chance to prove the doubters wrong, and solidify his place in boxing. IF he loses, he lose to a bigger guy, and he will be known as a fighter who duck no one.
