Cotto cant make any weight below 147 without it hurting him, I really dont think he would do that, not for any fight. Especially against a guy the caliber of Pac, if you come in drained your gonna get hurt. Cotto and Mosley both stay at 147, regardless of the offer.
Pac and Mayweather need to get it on, after that they can worry about the big boys at 147. The winner of that fight should be confident enough to fight those guys at their healthy weight, or just not look for those fights.

Never happening. Cotto moved up to 147 lbs. because he had trouble making 140 lbs (and subsequently had to vacate his WBO light welterweight belt). He was fighting the scales rather than the opponent.

I feel bad for Clottey if this Pac/Cotto fight happens. Cause Clottey will need to K.O Cotto in their fight coming up if order win. If it goes to the cards Cotto wins for sure. MONEY TALKS!

but how about manny going up to 147!!..
manny fyts at 147.5 only, while miguel can be at 160.
now that is very unhealthy for manny.

              here's my novel scheme:
official weigh-in at 147...but limit the rehydration to 154.7
that way there is not much sadvantage in body mass for cotto....
c'mon guys, don't forget where manny started....

If you want to keep going up in weight looking for challengers, then that's just what you're going to run into...bigger opponents!
it doesn't always follow brah.....look at the ex-p4p#1
at least pacman is doing it.

Sort of like a Klit style deal: If you want Pac Mr. Money, you have to sign on to fight Cotto as well (if you win).

Arum would now have TWO PPV fights for himself to make money.

                    But will he do that?

Not so sure. He seems to want to keep Floyd out even if Cotto and Pac want him.

                    pre-signed agreement on who to fyt next ? = co-sig !

                    arum not touching floyd with a ten-foot pole ? = co-sig again !
