Maybe you should start studying the sport. Valero has great defense - are you kidding? He has no defense whatsoever and his chin is always wide open. He has not fought anyone in Manny's caliber and once he faces Manny he will suffer the same fate as Hatton. Manny will just put more damage into that already damaged skull of his. Let us be realistic here people.

even Freddie Roach said a fight with Guzman would be tough for Manny. Valero is about as hungry as a fighter can be. either man would be a great match for Manny, but i don't see Manny dropping weight in order to make it happen. too bad for Valero.

Have you seen his knockout of Anthony Pitalua? The man throws with such murderous intent on each punch that when he feints....it's going to take a special kind of fighter to not bite on the feint.

When I first heard of Valero and read up on him I thought "this guy is a tragedy waiting to happen" especially with his style, regardless of who he's fighting

Valero vs Pacquiao would be interesting. I can't remember seeing Pacquiao fight a lefty before, so seeing how he fares without that advantage against an extremely hard hitting and awkward fighter in Valero is intriguing. Valero can certainly put Pacquiao's lights out, but his defense and chin straight up in the air leaves enough to the imagine that Pacquiao could definitely KO him as well. It's too bad we won't get to see it though as Valero won't be a marquee fighter in time for it come to fruition. Pacman and Roach are making it sound like two more and they are done, and I imagine they are thinking Mayweather/Marquez. We'll see.
