Edwin Valero Claims a Fight With Manny Pacquiao is a Lock

I was fairly impressed with Valero, though Pitalua looked like he was outclassed by a mile to begin with. He has speed, good reflexes, and a finisher's mindset, not to mention tremendous power.
He throws too wide to beat Pac though. Pac is faster, more agile, and less stationary. I think Valero makes it farther than Hatton but Pac gets aggressive when someone tries to push him around. Valero will try to throw some kind of combo and piss Manny off. The next time Valero goes to the ropes, Manny would attack him with non-stop punches and Valero has never had that kind of pressure on him and he starts to get tagged then hurt. The fight won't go past 6 rds because Valero is a ko fiend and will start swinging for the fences to get another one.
Manny wins via KO in 6 rds

Sure he has power, but so have most fighters. The word "power" is an overused term these days.
Well... if, like fans of Froch, someone gets a kick out of seeing telegraphed haymakers and zero defence. I don't get why people enjoy watching fighters like this. Boxing's supposed to be a game of skill - not just KO'ing bums with random swings. Tyson had a mad KO spree, but he actually looked like he was boxing his way to those wins.
Perhaps he should face a few more guys with a pulse before trying for more 135 belts. There's loads of guys ranked and ready to go, if he brings it.
eh, I'm done blud. :thumb1:
I say he crushes your boy michael katsisidis & any lightweight out there maybe except joan guzman & ali funeka.
