Valero would be the perfect opponent for Pacquiao as his very last match. Pac would be Valero's 1st L and Pac would leave out on top.

What Valero didn't know was that Arum put a clause in the contract that stipulates that when the fight actually happens, Valero has to hire either Mayweather Sr. or Buddy McGirt as chief trainer.

Arum is too smart to promise Pac, he should read the fine print. Remember, Bob was the guy who once said, "Yesterday, I was lying. Today, I'm telling the truth."

I guess Valero dosen't realise all these names that are going around, are the names he's gonna fight.....then he's gonna retire, he's a fool if he's signed a contract thinking he can compete with the guys who are calling pac out (since at the end of the day it's all about money, and Pac will fight whoever Arum tells him to fight).

After watching Manny catch Hatton square on the chin like that is
making me wonder if Valero even stands a chance. Valero is wide
open all day. If he can tighten up that Defense and land on Pac
effectively then maybe but at this point Valero would be dead
            meat.

Valero talks **** about Prescott having fought no one, but who has he fought to earn a fight with Pac? I admit, i'd love to see it, but by using his own thought process, he's SOL.......

goes to show how dam good and advanced valero is.
pac's main advangtage is speed and accuracy, valero has the same dam advantages.
Why should pac wait around for that? Pac is done after Floyd or JMM and maaaaaaaaybe Cotto or shane Why continue?

By that time, Valero still won't have the resume.

lol @ Arum selling this kid on signing with Top Rank based on a mythical shot at Pacquiao. I'll be very surprised if it ever happens, and then we'll mark it down as another lie from Arum.

Pacquiao is now officially in the business of only making fights that get him eight figures. As of now, only guys like Floyd and Cotto can offer that, along with JMM and Mosley.

Valero would have to get 2-3 BIG wins before this is even a possibility (and that would take at least 2 years, Pac will be retired by then probably)...ph and not to mention he needs get a license to fight somewhere in the US other than just Texas.
