    Re: Edwin Valero

Who can blame Valero (if you are from the Philippines, it should be pronounced "Baliwro") if he wish to commit suicide. We gathered that in Venezuela it is an inherent and legal right of every citizen to commit suicide. Valero or "Baliwro" is merely exercising a right lawfully granted to all Venezuelan citizen.

Valero is a silent rising star, but he needs more some credible opponents to match up with Pacquiao stature for a possible fight with him. Why not start with let's say Joan Guzman or Nate Campbel or Kotelnik or Urango? or challenge first JMM for an acid test? or entice Hatton to prove himself he could defeat what Pacman could defeat? Just following the rules of a ladder, huh?

Definitely agree with this. It seems as though his W/KO record is the most lucrative thing about him, which only serves to cleverly mask his obvious lack of boxing skills. People seem to be blinded by all this sloppy KO ****.

I bet his team will try putting all manner of stiffs in front of him to protect that record, unless a big name decides to give him a mega fight - any genuine contenders like Khan, Katsidis or Prescott will be shunned. I'm pretty sure of it.

Unless the WBC has some deserving mandatories waiting in the wings.

IMO, Valero is not only to slow for Pacquaio, he is a very slow for a LW...

I doubt Valero can survive at least a half of the fight... Anyway i didn`t so much of him, so i can be wrong...

PacMan vs Valero was one of My Wish List 1 or 2 years ago!
But now, I think Pacquiao is on another level (Atleast 2 level)~

The most challenging fight for the PacMan at the moment is Cotto, Mosley, Mayweather...

I remember 1 year ago Arum said "Manny should keep away from Cotto"
But now, I think Cotto should keep away from Manny!

Valero would rather fight CASAMAYOR AND DIAZ over PRESCOTT, yeah cause he doesn't wanna get KO by prescott..Casamayor is lazy, KATSIDIS almost KO him, valero wil KO his drunk ass for sure, now JUAN DIAZ is just gonna give VALERO a massage, before VALERO KO his powerless ass...I would rather see him fight PRESCOTT..
How wrong you are man. Prescott is the one ducking Valero. Apparently Valero isn't a big enough money fight for him (haha, his last opponent was big money???) I think Valero would smash Prescott with relative ease. Nothing Prescott's done has impressed me, especially considering his last outing.
