Floyd just puts on an act for the most part. I guess it'd be interesting to see how he's kept up these past 16 months.

I love him too but I do think he's got a good chance to win.
Also, this 24/7 will finally give him mass exposure and help him become the star he rightly deserves to be.
He will never be overlooked after this.

Many of the Floyd Enviers have tried to paint this match as some monstrous Welterweight against a featherweight. The reality is that the two fighters - in real size - are closer than people realize, or will admit.

Floyd is the bigger man. By a weight division. ONE weight division. Here are some data points to consider.

          1) marquez turned pro at 126. While he was a pro at 126, Floyd was in the amateurs at 106-120. later, in 1996, while marquez was a pro at 126. Floyd was in the Olympics at 125.

          2) Marquez and Floyd fought for five years - FIVE YEARS - with just 4 pounds separating them. JMM was a 126 lb FW, and Floyd was a 130 lb SFW.

          3) in 1996, while Floyd was fighting in the Olympics at 125, marquez had his first lightweight (135) bout.

          4) Floyd has had 31 bouts at lightweight and below. That is 80% of his career. Eighty percent.

          5) Floyd's last three fights saw him come in the ring at an average of 147 pounds. That is roughly 3-5 pounds higher than marquez reported for his LW fights.

          6) If Floyd is such a monstrous, legitimate welterweight, please name me a couple of other welterweight contenders who are smaller than PBF. Thanks in advance.

          7) Marquez, at saturday's press conferense, said he was 145 pounds. I think it is pretty well known that FMJ walks around near fighting shape in the low 150's. You saw him in the AT&T commercial, and with a tank top at the presser.

          8) Floyd regularly weighs less for his WW (and even JMW) bouts than many/most 140 guys do.

          9) When Floyd fought Gatti, he was 140 at weigh-in, and 146 on fight night. Two fights later, PBF was 146 at weigh-in and 146 on fight night for Judah.

          10) Marquez can report at the weight he feels best. he stated that he wantd to gain "four pounds" for this fight. He can/should come in at 143 for the weight in, and 145-147 on fight night. He will give up a couple of lbs to Floyd. If he prefers to weigh-in at 139-141, Fine. Do that.

I have tried to be pretty factual there. This is a fight between two guys who are one weight class apart - irrespective of FJMJ's decisions to campaign at WW or JMW. I think marquez knew what he was doing when he called out Floyd. He wasn't going after some massive guy like Clottey or Cintron.

Really don't care about past weights, fight night weigh ins etc. The fact is that Floyd is a welterweight RIGHT NOW. Anyone who cannot make 140 is a welterweight Any fight over 140 is AT LEAST 1.5 weight classes above 135. #2 JMM has never fought above 135 and is therefore a lightweight.

I'd rather they'd do what pac does and let us see the sparring instead of floyd's padwork.

I really think this is a much more competitve fight than people make it sound. The winner is going to get Pac and both fights are huge
How huge would the fight be if JMM beats Floyd?
Riding that victory to set up the trilogy would be huge.
I dont think that Floyd is that much bigger than JMM. And JMM was not fighting at 135 in 1996 like that guys stated earlier. I can see JMM pulling out the upset SD.
As for the 24/7 it is entertaining to see how a man with so much money can act the fool. He is still as ****** as they get with no class but its funny and entertaining. We all like trash TV.
