HBO's 24/7 series will have four episodes offering a behind the scenes look at preparation Floyd Mayweather's July 18 comeback fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. It will be the third 24/7 featuring a Mayweather fight. This is Floyd Mayweather Jr. Part II," said Ross Greenburg, president of HBO Sports. "I think he's got plenty of surprises. He's just such a character and such a force in reality television. All four episodes will surprise one after another. He just brings a lot of excitement back."


Side note: part of why the PBF-JMM press announcement was made on the Pac-Hatton fight date is because it was all captured for the first episode of M-M 24/7.

I don't think JMM has a chance in this fight but damn I love that dude. IMO he's the best pure boxer out there and such a hard woker and ***in warrior.

I know that many people feel this fight should not happen. One consideration that has been overlooked is the benefit to Marquez.

JMM has been a fan's fighter. He is less widely known than any other top fighter. This fight (and the 24/7 series) will provide him with the exposure that he deserves . The question is whether he can capitalize on that exposure.
