He came to the ring vs Judah weighing the same he did at the weigh
in and it was still below 147. Weight is not an issue for Floyd more
than it would be for Cotto and Mosley. Manny Pacquiao is an amazing
fighter but I think Floyd is technically better and would take the fight.
I AGREE with you that Floyd is technically better, but you have to admit that he has never met a fighter that can throw at the same speed and power for 28 rounds..With that said, its an even fight and I won't be surprise if either one of the guys wins. Now this is just my opinion and possibly a few people with agree with me. That if Mayweather wins this fight mixing it up would be more creditable to his resume, than HIDE like a turtle and pile up the points and win with unanimous decisions. Thats the reason so many people love Manny even though he is not the most technically sound boxer but have definetly shown improvement from the past, he comes to fight and give the people exiciting fights, memorable fights. I for one don't even look back at the De La hoya/ Mayweather fight it was not memorable and exciting. With that said, their both great fighters, the fighter with the most determination and the perfect game plan will come out as the VICTOR. I would gamble and put my money on PACQUIAO.

Here's my thing. I feel throughout Floyd Mayweather Jr's career he
has fought bigger and stronger guys than Manny Pacquiao perhaps
not faster but just as fast (Judah) and I think Floyd would be prepared
for Manny. I think Manny is great and definitely derseves his propers
but I don't think Manny has ever fought someone as technically sound
as Floyd Mayweather Jr. With that said I feel it would be a great
competitve fight but I would no doubt go with Mayweather Jr for
      the W.

I think that FMJR is talented, phenomenal defense, but when you open you mouth so much, then you should back it up with your fist and go for knockouts rather than hiding and waiting. He said was gonna KO De La Hoya. De La Hoya was far from getting KO in that fight, but he would have been KO by Manny if he didn't quit. Another thing, I know that trash talkin is good for boxing to hype up the fight, I could respect that. But if you beat a fighter then you hug him and said that was a great fight and then take a cheap shot at them in the MEDIA calling them B%tches is uncalled for. With that said, how can you respect a figther who does not respect other fighters, whether he beat them or not. It seems that way all the time with FLOYD JR.

BALDOMIR WAS TOO SLOW, GOTTI IS HITTABLE LOOK WHAT ALPHONSO GOMEZ DID TO HIM, I GIVE HIM CREDIT DIEGO CORRALES MUCH BIGGER. anyone else..every guy that MANNY FOUGHT was bigger than PACQUIAO naturally, you got to remember that PACQUIAO started at 106...will definetly be the HARDEST fight for PACQUIAO..all the fights from here on will be always the most difficult for PACQUIAO, because you and I know that PACQUIAO is not gonna face fighters that are calling him out that has no credibable wins in their resume..With that said..how do you bet points in here man..just curious.

the agreement will be between the fighters. all the org cares about is people are 147 or under.

even at a catchweight of 144 the title will still be up for grabs.

also there was a guy who mentioned as long as Miguel is allowed to put on weight after weigh in. how can he not? weigh ins are weigh ins. there's no limit to how much you can put on after the weigh in?

cotto will probably be in the ring around 155 and pac around 147 on fight night.
your right, as long as the weight is under 148 and above 140 it's still a welterweight fight

which is why I want to know why catchweight is favored over Welterweight?

if the Pac-Cotto fight it's still going to be at Welter why does it matter if it's at 144 vs 147?

especially if Cotto will rehydrate post weight in.

and as for the green. how much fighters can gain I know there is a limit, so if anyone could answer that it would be appreciated, I don't know exactly what it is, but pretty sure I heard a max weight fighters can gain.

believe me there is an advantage when one guy is naturally bigger than the other..some people can put on more weight than others. PACQUIAO is at 140-145 fighting weight and can probably put as much as 150 come fight night. Cotto at if the catchweight at 147 can possibly put on 160 by fight night, its because his body is naturally at the weight so with that said 10 lbs of bodyweight will definetly show in size and power difference.

Gatti, Corley, Corrales, Castillo, Ndou were all bigger Boxers/fighters
than Manny and for the most part had more power with probably
exception to Gatti but who knows? Gatti was still a natural 140lb.
Not too sure about the points thing. Some of the guys on here
explained it to me but still confused about it.
