williams is too big, right now in his life he's a freak of nature being able to drop down to welter weight and being able to fight at middleweight without missing a beat or losing any of his talents or gifts.

williams is the man, but i think he's also dipping into the smaller weights when he should hold it down either at jr middle or middleweight. because i see williams maybe even finishing out his career at super middle weight or even LIGHT HEAVY!!!! his frame can handle it, provided his health holds up, only father time will tell...........

Williams fans began to go crazy calling out Cotto too.

They forget that Cotto knocked out Quintana in 5 rounds and it took Williams 13 rounds and the Williams fans still don't see it that way :lmfao:

You must have forgotten that Williams beat Margarito while Cotto suffered a beatdown against Margarito. See how that works?

Cotto never call any oponents, Arum is the one talking about the deal, besides the only thing that clottey has an advange against Cotto is his condition, this is something that Cotto can develop too.

And you must have forgot that Margarito was caught cheating trying to load his wraps with plaster before his bout with Mosley.

I doubt Tony used the plaster against Williams because had he done so, Tony would have done the samething to Williams. Just look how soft Williams chin is against Walter Dario Matthysse was rocking the hell out of Williams in that fight. Had Tony been using his plaster he would have done some damage.

I believe Tony used the plaster against Cotto, there is no doubt in my mind. The rivalry between Mexico and Puerto Rico is too big for Tony to have lost that fight. The Islanders have been winning most of the battles and are ahead by a very big margin in championship fights considering Puerto Ricans are out numbered as a people by millions and I do mean many millions.

Now why did Tony try to cheat against Mosley? Old Mosley? I will never know. Maybe the cheating got good to him. You know, once you do something illegal and get away with it, you will always feel a little safer the next time because you have already gotten away with it before.

Reason why Cotto hasn't fought Williams:

After Williams beat Margarito, Cotto fought Mosley....more lucrative option, bigger name, simple as that.

The only feasible time for Cotto to fight Williams was after Mosley, but after Mosley he was waiting to see what Floyd would do cause that was the obvious fight that should have happened at that point.

By the time Floyd had decided to retire, Paul had lost to Quintana.

When Cotto was coming back after his loss to Tony, lets be reasonable, did you really expect him to fight Williams right after the beating he took? He was entitled to a tune up, and I don't even wanna hear "Oh well than Mayweather is entitled to the same thing" I know that I'v never said anything on the contrary. The question at hand has nothing to do with Floyd.

And now, Williams is at MW/JMW while Cotto is fighting Clottey and could fight Pac or Mosley next.

Looking at it objectively, it just hasn't been in the cards.

I, as a Cotto fan, would like to see it eventually though.

Only reason he hasn't fought him is economic. But it makes Cotto fans look ****** when they **** on Floyd for taking money fights...

And remember Arum is Cotto's puppetmaster. Cotto fights who he tells him to fight.

At the end of the day, what do Paul Williams bring to the table? Maybe if he becomes a CEO of company or his own promoter they can talk.

I think Pwill should just focus on 154 and 160 lbs. no one at 147 will fight him, except clottey. he's got to pray that clottey beats cotto.

He beat Shane once already decisively , it wasnt that close. Why do people want to see another rematch?

Only rematch I would like to see Cotto in the future is Margarito as for now Pacquiao is a close match up in size and superfight campatability
