Considering that we are in the worst economy of the last 20 years plus the technology (I'm talkin about Live Streams Online), 850,000 is really good. Both are also non-american fighters.. Wow..

Yes...in a down economy, no less. For those saying it isn't that good, please name all the fights that have done better over the past few years.

Mayweather will be taking the 55/45 split between him and pac when they fight. Or 50/50 at worse

The Purse will be decided by probably on this Factor
          1. P.P.V History vs. the common opponent

          The numbers of

Pacquiao vs. De la Hoya (1.4 Million buys)
Mayweather vs. De la hoya (2.4 Million P.P.V Buys)

Pacquiao vs. Hatton (850,000 P.P.V BUY)
          Mayweather vs. Hatton ( 910,000 P.P.V Buys)
          Hatton Mayweather combined
          U.K: 1.4 Million
          U.S: 910,000
          = 2.3 Million overall

Pacquiao vs. JMM (400,000 buys P.P.V Buys)
          Mayweather vs. JMM (TBA)

So far Mayweather is winning the argument on who should get the lion's share.

          Pacquaio P.P.V History

          Pacquaio vs. Morales 350,000 PPV
Pacquiao vs. Morales II 355,000 buys
          PACQUIAO vs. BARRERA 350,000 PPV
Pacquaio vs. Marquez I 360,000 PPV
Pacquaio vs. Marquez II 400,000 buys

Floyd vs. Judah (no countdown show) did better than all Pacquaio fights except Marquez II..

          Pacquaio vs. Morales 350,000 PPV
Pacquiao vs. Morales II- 355,000 buys
          PACQUIAO vs. BARRERA 350,000 PPV
Pacquaio vs. Marquez I 360,000 PPV

and judah is a nobody with no fanbase like mexicans fighters like Morales, barrera, and Marquez have.

You guys can figure it out ....
If I remember correctly, the first Pacquiao-JMM fight was not on PPV.

            It is very good

But it's not exactly the 1.5m-2m you guys were saying is it

            Floyd is the bigger draw

You have to factor in the state of the economy buddy. Plus this is just hearsay. Lets wait till the real numbers come out. He says it is 850k minus comcast. Last I heard comcast is a pretty big cable company.

No, it's not 850k minus Comcast. 850k is an estimate, and it's not a final figure because they don't have the Comcast numbers....so they are estimating what they think they will be getting from Comcast...sorry, I should have been more clear.

i did factor in the economy.
and the results are still the same.

you have to factor in nobody knew who ricky hatton was when he fought Mayweather.

unlike on saturday when people knew who ricky hatton was when he fought pacquiao...

but nevermind that...This P.P.V did great.
                  nothing to be ashame of...
this just proves People want to see Pacquiao fight.
                  which is a good thing.
