Yes he still has the after effect of the knock out, he's still sleeping & needs to be diagnose completely to clear him of any damage...

    • UFC / MMA fighters get knocked out like that all the time with one shot and get paid peanuts compared to what Hatton made on Saturday. I am sure he sees it this way too. Yesterday he was chillin pool side in Vegas with his family and having a great time with fans and taking pictures. I say good for him because he definately needs to work on that tan :lmfao:

This was the ******est (and most racist) post of all-time. It's funny how only ********** are racist in this country anymore. You'd figure they would have learned from their own past.

White people don't see skin races, they see the human race. The skin has nothing to do with what goes on in the ring; short of a little blindness from the glaring reflection of Ricky Hatton's ghostly visage.

That's also because intelligent people, the people with money, would rather pay to watch a tactical, but brutal chess match in the ring instead of two guys in speedo's wrestling.

          • ricky was losing this fight regardless but most of his interviews more or less prove that manny was not hitting him that much like hatton said but all of you are so in love with manny that you can't see that, manny didn't look that good in the fight he looked much better in the delahoya and diaz fight but bein that he knocked ricky out in two you all can't see that he was missin punches and punchin with his head down and not lookin at hatton at times while he was throwing punches

            • I see NB's resident village idiot-Weebler the second (you see, he inherited the foolishness from his poppa) hasn't kept his promise of disappearing from these boards! Get the **** out of here before you get skooled some more.

I respect Hatton as a great fighter, but we expect him w/ a different reaction humbled by the performance of a P4P King...It's a surprise humiliation suffered from a more superior fighter...it's another excuses in a different approach, so accept the defeat w/ honor its not a shame to lost w/ the great Manny Pacquiao....Look at Pacquiao regardless of his performance & success stayed humble & simple...

He seemed be taking the loss better than expected, and said the two round knockout was better for him than being outclassed for several rounds, which may be a reference to his 2007 loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. [details]

Nonsense. This 2nd round KO was IMO better than if Pac got Hatton with that shot in the 1st round, because then it could have been labeled as a fluke by some. But Pac thoroughly dominated Hatton in every sense of the fight. He took a few clean shots from Hatton which didn't seem to bother him much (although the British commentators and fans exaggerated Pac's reaction), outboxed him, and out powered him with power punches. End of Story. Hatton and no chance.

                    • Ricky, please retire. You were a great champ at 140 and beat a few good names, but every champ only goes so far and has to call it a day eventually. You lost to two of the best fighters of this era and beat everyone else in your weight class, there is simply nothing more to prove man.

Despite all the people mocking Hatton and showing no class, I for one am still a fan and I respect Hatton for his achievements. He could have picked a lot of other champions to fight but he fought the best and that deserves all the credit in the world. Pacquiao has shown nothing but class toward Hatton. It's a shame quite a few people have chosen to label Ricky unfairly calling him a hype job and a bum, but I guess that's people for you. From hero to zero, right?

I wish him the best in his retirement. He was a crowd pleasing, exciting fighter who represented his nation well as a champ, and went far further than anyone ever expected him to in his career.
