Ricky just can't accept that he is not better or even in the level of the top P4P fighters today.

He is a perfect example of a person that truly believed his own hype.

His statement above was so delusional, so in denial, that it borders on idiocy. How can you have a few more rounds, when you didn't even know what round you were in at one point? The ref or your corner didn't stop the fight. There were no disputes with regards to your ability to continue to fight, you were unable to go on because you were KTFO. There were no rounds left to give you. Nada.

What he needs to do is accept the fact that he is not as good as Pac, JMM, Hopkins, PBF and never belonged with the top fighters and then accept the fact that he got massacred by a great boxer/fighter in Manny Pacquiao.

Give Manny the credit he deserves and admit that a few more rounds would not have helped because Manny will always be the better man.

        OVER?
He lost to the two best fighters in the world....He'll be fine, he's just a second class fighter....like De La Hoya. Fighters get to a certain level, then the real champions take over. Happened to Oscar, now Ricky Hatton.

No my response was that he's smaller and able to mix it with the kid. I think a small quick fighter does better against Pac, than a bigger fighter.

Wow, he's the real deal is he? ****, thanks.

Noone is arguing whether or not he is a great fighter. He clearly is. He is already an ATG legend of the ring.

What I find ridiculous is your inability to see that Hatton and Mayweather are two completely separate fighters and that the challenges they present to Manny would be totally different.

Can you not see how Ricky fought the perfect fight for Pacquiao? He walked in hands down and just allowed himself to be nailed against the faster fighter. Do you think Floyd is going to do that? Floyd will turn this into a technical fight. He will present Manny with very few openings. Technically, Floyd is superior to Pacquiao. Can Pacquiao's power and tenacity overcome that? I don't know. What I do know is that anyone who thinks Manny can just walk in there and blow Floyd away based on his win over Hatton knows absolutely nothing about boxing.

I've already said Mayweather will last longer (chiefly because he runs), but he will lose.

Can you not see how Ricky fought the perfect fight for Pacquiao? He walked in hands down and just allowed himself to be nailed against the faster fighter. Do you think Floyd is going to do that?
Ricky didn't help himself but it wouldn't have mattered if he did cover up, use head movement etc the other guy was too quick.

Oscar has all the boxing skills but Pac is too fast, too elusive. He makes bigger fighters look like slow lumbering oxes.

Floyd will turn this into a technical fight. He will present Manny with very few openings. Technically, Floyd is superior to Pacquiao. I think you were the one who said blasting. I merely pointed out, that Pac will win, and comfortably.

Yeah.....it would have helped Pacquiao dish out more punishment.

It's a pretty big compliment when someone has to go back six years to find you eating a punch.
