    Name one for Pacquiao?

Not a lot of fighters have ATG's on their resumes.....

Neither need each other. Strangely enough, they both want each other for different reasons though.

Mayweather needs Pacquiao more. I could see Pacquiao facing and making in excess of 10 mil against 3 fighters (Mosley, Cotto, Marquez). After Marquez, there aren't many fighters that would make Floyd good money, that I could actually see him fighting. He has options, but his history shows that he'll just retire again.

They both need each other equally.

Pacquiao needs a really good prime name on his resume. Although JMM, Barrera and all those dudes are good. Those guys wont crack any ATG lists except from the fans. Those guys, honestly wont be remembered 30+ years from now. Honestly.

Floyd needs Pacquiao if he wants the "fans" respect. Otherwise his legacy is cemented anyways and will still be recognized as one of the best ever.

So, like I said. They both need each other equally.

i don't think manny damages his legacy
in a loss but will inhance it in a win.

boyfloyd does not cement his legacy
with a win over pacquiao at 144.

They roughly need each other the same, after JMM should Floyd win, I could see them fighting different men (Floyd-Mosley and Pacman-Cotto) but only if the fight between them is just to tough to amke at that point. Should they both get through that fight what options do they have except to fight each other if they want to keep making the same level of bank.

he is already repected by the 'his fans'.
the only problem is the other fans did't repect him.

You think Mosley is just going to sit around while Manny fights Cotto, I am sure a fight would get made between Floyd and Mosley if they were both free and wanted to fight. How will JMM get another shot at Pacman if he loses to Floyd (unless it is a very close fight). Cotto is a legit options for both.

The same list of guys Pacman and fight Floyd can fight, they are both at the same level and need the same exact type of opponent of which there are not many when 2 guys start knocking them off one at a time.

At some point they need each other~
