Hatton started out with the gameplan- jab your way in and try to go to the body. But as soon as his chin got tapped, the game plan was out the window and he was getting knocked down. He simply didn't listen to Mayweather Sr. I doubt he would have won regardless, seeing how good Pac was, but Hatton did not do what he was supposed to. When fighters don't listen to their trainers, 90% of the time nothing good comes out of it.
I was upset to see Hatton lose like that as early as he did, but like I said a while back- he's very overrated. He wouldn't beat any of the top 140-147 pounders because it's exactly like Freddie Roach said: he doesn't have the ability to adapt. And if you can't do that in boxing (I know a lot of guys on these forums never stepped foot into the ring so they have no idea what its like) you WILL not win against a decent opponent.
