I disagree, he wouldn't have had the international amateur experience or the Olympic credentials that entitled him to take the fast track to a world title. He would have taken a lot of punches and accumulated a few early losses (like Pacquiao did) and would have lost a lot of the luster that defines his appeal.

No he would not be a 12 division champ. The reason is his first 4 years will probably fighting nobodies to build him up. By then he would be 20 years old, then moved on to fight good fightes, rank or use to be rank top 10 fighters in a division. Then a title shot. He would be around 21-22 years old, probably fighting in the 122-126 division.

Mayweather has never been Physically Knock Down.
As of Matter of fact Pacquaio has been Knock out twice...

While Pacquiao was getting Knockout...Mayweather was winning Championships.

Thank You!!! That's what i've been trying to tell him. In the meantime however....If Pacquiao had enjoyed all the amateur and lifetyle priveleges Mayweather has had growing up to make Pacquiao as good as he is today from the minute he turned pro.....then Pacquiao would be an even bigger monster....the 2nd coming of mike tyson. Completely blowing out opponent after opponent on his way to collecting belts in multiple divisions.

Tbh, Pacquiao went onto a difficult path fighting world class fighters. First, he's from the Philippines (a very far out country). Promotions were difficult for him, he had to beat lineal champs and still made the Six Division claimant.

Yes Floyd coulda, Floyd woulda but he didn't. He retired for 1 year waiting for fighters to become old and he can beat them, then claim #1 P4P easily. Intelligent.

nice thread, its like saying if Mayweather was immortal he would beat all fighters that existed in the past and all others that will come in the future.

                You're a ****ing moron.

Mayweather is a 2nd generation fighter that had been trained to fight since age 5.

Manny Pacquiao started training at age 12....and was fighting and winning World Championships all while being homeless from age 17-19. Let's see Mayweather win golden gloves only eating 1 dinner roll every 3 days.
