You say if floyd turned pro at 16 he would be a 10-12 division champion.

I disagree because because floyd's claim to greatness is not athletic ability, it's not explosive power, it's not blinding speed.....it's his fundamental skill and ability to adapt. Skills that are LEARNED....not genetically gifted. If floyd had turned pro at 16 he would not have been the same floyd you know today because he would not have been a polished fighter....not as good boxing knowledge which affects his ability to adapt.....and he's not as genetically gifted as other fighters that turn pro early that would allow him to get by just based off pure athleticsm.
I dont agree, watch Floyd's early fights and all the commentators talk about him having huge power, Floyd can crack when he wants to. I mostly say he would have had titles that low not just because of skill but he would have been SO much bigger than any of those guys at those weights.

actually no he wouldnt have, i just told you, mayweather had the maturity of a pro even while in the amatuers. Guys like mayweather dont get "ruined", was hopkins "ruined", how about toney? hes in that class of fighter. he had that class as an amatuer. Also, pac didint come from a family of fighters, the little things, the tricks, the fight within the fight, mayweather has had that since he was a child, if he would have turned pro at 16, i doubt you would have seen him getting stretched, losses yes, but ruined, hell no.

Pacquiao fighting at welterweight is like Mayweather fighting at super middleweight. Is Floyd doing that? He's going DOWN to fight smaller men, when he should be fighting the likes of Pavlik, Williams, and Abraham.

That's why Pac has already surpassed Floyd.
