Till then I think the cherry picking hurts him when considering this question.
My gut tells me that after Floyd wins in July the ultimate fight between Manny and Floyd will occur in November or December. There is too much money to be made for that fight not to happen. That will decide the FOTD

his best wins (marquez , morales , barrera , ledwaba , sasakul) already
Morales was old when pac beat him and pac lost the 1st fight, he got a boxing lesson from Marquez for parts of both fights

First of all Floyd took castillo, the top guy (no david diaz) on in his 1st fight at 135, Hernandez was unbeaten at 130 and floyd won that WBC title at 21 years of age. You can add hatton too, since he was undefeated before he met floyd and many picked floyd to lose that fight.

I also believe floyd won ring fighter of the year in 1998 as well as 2007, making it 2 for floyd also.

            Oh yes...
the pacman has once again suprised us all with a stunning performance.
he is a beast, its just amazing what he has done in boxing, in the way he has done it and with the opposition he has had.
he fights anyone, anytime...and floyd lacks that.

              Yes, without a doubt.

Don't get me wrong, I give Mayweather credit for his great performance in fantasy matchups. The fact that he would beat Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Sugar Ray Robinson, Hagler etc. according to bunch of idiots on here...wow, that's impressive.

Crazy as it sounds, I'll go with facts over 'woulda, coulda, shoulda'.

I hope you are not talking about Hatton and de la hoya.

Because Floyd beat De La hoya at his natural weight class and Pacquiao fought an imposter killing himself to make 147 pounds for the 1st time in years.

Secondly Hatton was unbeaten when Floyd faced him, many picked hatton to win and floyd gave him a boxing clinic, floyd was the fighter who exposed hatton.

Pac may be in a position where he could lose to Floyd and still be the FOTD depending on what the fight looked like.

Please!!!!! Mayweather doesn't even belong in the same sentence at this point.....Mayweather is not close by a mile. It's between BHOP and Pac but as advancements in the boxers careers I'd say Pac.
