Dont forget what that guy did for this sport

Sorry but i disagree with you, Am actually a big Naz fan but he cause a car incident by driving on the wrong side of the road, Almost killing the other drive you need a walking aid to get by, He ran away from the scene of the accident instead of calling the ambulance/police.

He try to pay someone else who was in the car with him to take the heat!!! I admire his accomplishments in the ring but what he did was a cowardly thing to do.

(the opposite of Ricky Hatton) also combine all this with the fact that he is with Frank Warren (who many UK fans hate) and you have a very unpopular person indeed.

However I, like many other UK fight fans, still like he guy and I know the media can count for a lot over here, he is young and overly judged, and the fact is he IS a great talent and in my opinion he isn't too ****y.

Generally speaking, after Audley Harrison's failure (and all the deluded/****y statements) The Olympic stars get a lot of resentment among the real boxing fans. They turn pro and become a big draw without doing anything, so as soon as they become ****y before doing something substantial in the ring they are booed!

In the UK we don't hype our stars...
Wrong, unfortunately our nation is guilty of hyping up stars, they hyped up Amir Khan waaaay too much before the Prescott defeat, they put loads of pressure on Rooney in the World Cup after the metatarsal problem, as if he would make it as a one man team. Britain do over hype stars quite a lot, I don't like to say it because I am proud to be British but unfortunately on many occasions we do.

I kinda agree with the ****iness part, he was talking about moving up in weight and fighting Hatton and then Mayweather even before he won a world title, but the hype he got is just as much to blame.

I don't know why they boo'd him, it might have been because they heard he planned to spar with Manny to help him prepare and some of the UK fans found it resenting and as if he was turning his back on our nation (I don't think he was, he could spar with Manny all he wants).
