Well thats why its difficult to consider him arrogant because he says a few thing that we all dont agree with, I just think its a case of people jumping on a bandwagon of lets hate him type.

The only wrong thing i have seen him done so far was the car incident but at least he didnt run away like that coward Naz

I was surprised at the amount of boo's he got when i went the Barrera fight, i knew alot of the English fans were there to support Barrera, but was still shocked at the reception Khan got.

I honestly dont mind Khan, and support him when he fights. Iv heard plenty of young Boxers who are ****ier / big headed than him.

its almost like the fans are putting on a show for the americans. khan does not deserve that abuse, save it for warren and his advisors

The lad is from Bolton, The fans are there to support hatton so why boo Amir Khan??? I bet even the American would be baffled, I notice one thing though most of the people that seem to "Hate" Amir Khan are actually Ricky Hatton fans and that says a lot.

The hate he gets isnt because he got KO in 52 seconds, Before he got KO everyone wanted him to get KO because according to them it "would humble" him...
dude i can't speak for everyone else's agenda in disliking Khan, but i've stated my reasons which are all perfectly legit as far as i'm concerned, and i know for a fact a large element of his detractors will agree with my reasons rather than some subconscious, or conscious as it may be, prejudice

for the record, does Calzaghe's career not get picked apart? Floyd Mayweather's? Ricky Hatton's? Wladimir Klitschko's? It's common place amongst fans of anything to be hypercritical. Why is it so heart-breaking when it's Khan getting booed but not when it's Mayweather? seems like a double standard to me

also might i add that the concept of being inclined to support and get behind someone purely because of their nationality is a notion i wholeheartedly disagree with. i notice a lot of khan fans using rhetoric like "it's sickening to see British fans not getting behind a prospect" or becoming incredulous at 'Brit fans' having the audacity to boo another Brit!! his support from British boxing fans is not a given, as many of his fans seem to think it should be. he has to earn support like everyone else

Dont get me wrong, I agree with you and your reasons and am not having a dig at you at all, Calzaghe or hatton's career gets picked apart because they were 35 and 30 years old....I didnt see that when they were 20 or 22 years old.

I dont expect people to get behind a boxer because of nationality either but he got boo'ed yesterday for what??? what purpose does that serve?? Like i said my post isnt a dig at you or any british fans just my opinion on the lets boo khan at every opportunity we get thing.

This is the truth. It is purely based on the colour of his skin. When people say his is "****y" this is code for him being brown, simple as.

well i'd put that down to them not being so prominantly in the limelight yet at that age
