A question for Floyd fans

If they both agreed to a fight, they BOTH picked it, right?
Anyway, with Floyd being the best in the sport, I'm pretty sure Hatton made the right decision.
I still don't see the problem everyone has with Mayweather fighting Hatton instead of Cotto... this fight was signed before he beat Shane Mosley, and Cotto wasn't all that established resume-wise anyway.
Plus, Hatton was 1-0 at 147, and the Collazo fight was blamed on a lot of different ****, but there was certainly a lot less talk about Hatton not being an effective fighter at 147.
A lot of revision has happened in people's minds since Mayweather fought Hatton.Comment

6'7", ****.
On a side note, this thread is already cracking me the hell up.
It's a serious subject, and I'm dead serious in discussing the subject matter.
But it also has dudes who are younger than other dudes discredting them because of their age, a lot of witty back and forth, and an Ultimate Warrior promo.

You are clutching at straws. Mayweather took the fight because it was low risk.Comment

Now when Floyd fought him? ****, Zab was at the top of his game, son. A real firecracker, that Judah boy. Except the way he got KTFO'd by a guy with a rat tail, and thrashed by a dude who sells these for a living.

ugh huh.. sure buddy.
it didn't have anything to do with the public getting tired of him not fighting legit threats at welterweight and demanding he fight them or retire.
didn't have anything to do with the WBC demanding he defend the belt or get stripped.
didn't have anything to do with the fact that Cotto, Margarito, and Williams where at the top of the division.. it's just all mear coensidenceComment

Nah man, by the time Cotto wrecked Zab, Zab was already damaged goods....

Mayweather "retired" which is more like waited for them to fight each other and lose to comeback.. it could have been a year or two, eventually they where going to sort each other out and when they did, he would return. it happened sooner then later, this is why he is back.Comment
