jmm is #2 based majorly on the fact that hopkins has 1 foot in retirement.

However, I think JMM deserves the number 2 spot. JMM lost a close as hell decision to the Numero uno P4P (I had him winning 114-113, but I don't *****), then moved up to not only beat, but knock out, two of the best 135 pounders in the world, both guys known for having very good chins. Hopkins lost a close one to P4P 2 (I had it 114-113 Calzaghe), then beat up on a top rated, but very limited fighter in Kelly Pavlik, a top fighter at Middleweight.

Hopkins deserves to be up there, no doubt. But JMM deserves #2 for me..
Pretty much... JMM's win over Casamayor is underated IMO.

              Sums it up for me

Yes Casamayor is old but he had just come off a win against Katsidis.
Juan Diaz had never been KO'd.
but besides that, he unified the division.. Bernard was once a unified champion, that doesn't mean he is one now though.

Think about it, a blown up Wright, a loss to Joe, and a blown up Pavlik.
Does that really surpass what Marquez has done these last few fights?
I really don't think so.. adamek or dawson would put him above Marquez if Marquez losses to Mayweather, which he probably will.
If somehow, someway Marquez pulled the upset though, there is no way Hopkins is going above him.
If Marquez beats Floyd, I could possibly see him taking the #1 spot...
