Froch's performance overall wasn't very good.

The big late finish was good though.

Firstly, I suggest some people read the article and find something to disagree with on it. Because I really can't. It was a poor performance by Froch, he is lucky Taylor completely fell apart in the 12th, he does need Calzaghe's name to make a big fight in the UK and he would get beaten by Kessler, Hopkins and probably Jones.

That's not to say that Enzo isn't a bit of a prick these days ... even more so than he's always been. His problem is that he's completely lost his way - for a while he was very good and had a stable of one great and several fighters capable of operating at a high level. For whatever reason he's completely lost the plot and forgotten the basics - ensuring your fighters are properly conditioned (Pryce was out of control for months before Hall beat him ... and there's no way Hall would have beat the Pryce of even 12 months ago) and making damn sure they are prepared for their opponent and have done sufficient sparring ... see Macarinelli's lack of any sparring or watching any videos of Ofalabi prior to his fight. It's all very well not sparring if your name is Joe Calzaghe because you can get away with it, but if you're Enzo Maccarinelli or Bradley Pryce or Gavin Rees then you better be properly prepared otherwise you'll lose. All the fitness training in the world is only going to get you so far.

I 100% agree,I was at the fight at FOXWOODS and can honestly say people couldn't BELIEVE HOW EASY TAYLOR seemed to have the fight after 6,he faded ,like TAYLOR ALWAYS dose and THATS WHY FROCH got to him. This was the WORST TAYLOR I had seen yet,ABSOLUTLY NO CONFOIDENCE,seemed to be very confused about what game plan to use and very HESITANT. As for FROCH,its true you can punch on him all day and as far as a GRANITE chin,he was almost put away and HURT a few times.I never understood people kept saying he had a great chin to begin with, how do they know THAT?By fighting a 37 year old ROBIN REID and light hitting JEAN PASCAL.He had exceptionally SLOW HANDS and FEET SATURDAY NIGHT and doesn't seem to hit all that hard, definatly NO ONE PUNCH ARTIST as TEAm froch CLAIMS. I also agree that KESSLER,HOPKINS,ANDRADE,BUTE,WARD and maybe even an ALLEN GREEN or SAKIO BIKA could take him out.Lets keep it real TAYLOR hadn't scored a knockout since before the FIRST HOPKINS fight, despite facing CORY SPINKS,KASSIM OUMA and not being able to EVEN HURT THEM .I actually went into FOXWOODS expecting to see the NEXT great SUPERMIDDLE WEIGHT, instead I saw an average fighter with A LOT OF HEART AND DECENT POWER come 14 seconds away from losing to a fighter who hasn't looked like an elite fighter for a long time if at all. As for CALZAGHE ,I agree why come back.He would EASILY decision FROCH,FROCH doesn't have the POWER to put CALZAGHE away especially considering how FRIGGIN SLOW FROCH punches and moves. If CALZAGHE is even 70% of what he was against KESSLER he wins.I just can't see FROCH landing anything against JOE unless JOE IS IN A WHEELCHAIR.JOE also has a point in why should he make someone he doesn't LIKE more money than he's ever seen.FROCH NEEDS CALZAGHE ,BAD!!!et him TRY and do it on his own ,he won't reach 3 defences forget over 20 and forget beating KESSLER or HOPKINS the FROCH I saw at FOXWOODS wouldn't see 5 against KEESLER and may not see the end against B HOP. Again I'm speaking as someone who was at the TAYLOR/FROCH fight and actually went they're ROOTING for FROCH.I admit I was FOOLED,I believed his chin was BETTER and he had A LOT MORE POWER with at least SOME SPEED.I was thoruoghly dissapointed. As for CALZAGHE stay away, all they'll say is you BEAT ANOTHER OVERRATED BUM TO PAD YOUR RECORD WHILE AVOIDING CHAD DAWSON,then HOPKINS,then GLEN JOHNSON,it will never end. P.S-As some here have suggested I learned how to use PARAGRAPHS so bear with me while I get the hang of this.PEACE

Who cares Enzo? Joe did'nt even try to defend his belt out of his hometown until he had like 20 defenses. Froch came here and fought a huge name and a solid fighter in his first defense. Sorry if he could'nt look pretty doing it. Lets be for real here Froch is a solid dude all around. He did what true champions do.
