Maybe because he speaks the truth, what is really impressive about beating Taylor who was naturally a middle weight for like his entire career? Then Taylor moves up to super-middleweight and only has one minor fight over Lacy before fighting Froch. Froch who has been a huge super-middle weight that practically looks like a light heavy and even moves slow like a light heavy in the ring. Hell, if Dawson could make supermiddle weight I think Froch might crap himself.

No Enzo, ur son is the one that fights like an amateur with those wild slaps. Froch came across the pound to fight a fighter in his prime and KO'd him. ur son never did that. he stayed hidden in the UK fighting bums

It's still a good win over a former undisputed MW champion who was favoured to beat him. That is definetely worthy of some praise.

Fighting bums lmao . 46-0 , it was a flewk , Kessler Hopkins Lacy Eubank were bums . What's any other fighter done to deserve a shot . Calzaghe's acheived everything he wants in boxing . Where's the motive taking a step back , retire while on top

I couldn't agree more, he just sounds sour and bitter. He demeaned both himself and his son.

That said, Froch was asked if he wanted to fight Kessler, and completely ignored the question and called out Calzaghe instead, and in a disrespectful way. So I guess it's not surprising that Enzo didn't feel like giving him the props he deserves for the fight.

As I posted in another thread, it's sad that for whatever reason Froch fought mostly British journeymen until he was 30 years old, and that he fought his first world class opponent (Taylor) when he was 31. If he'd stepped up and fought world class opposition a couple of years earlier than he did, he would certainly have got his shot with Calzaghe, because it would have been a huge fight for both fighters in those circumstances. But he didn't, and now he should just accept that his timing was all wrong, and put it behind him. He needs to concentrate on his own career, try make fights with the top active fighters in his own division, and forget about Calzaghe.

Carl Froch fights like an amateur...... except he's tough and Taylor doesn't know how to hurt and finish fighters....once Froch faces a good finisher he's a dead man. Calzaghe would send him back to the holocaust

Enzo is a bitter little nerd.

                    A vastly overated trainer.

A nob who said 'Haye never won, Maccarinelli simply threw the fight away and beats Haye 99 times out of a hundred'

'Gavin Rees beats Ricky and Witter..... by knockout'

He fought his first world class opponent (Eubank) when he was 25. Just because you have an irrational hate for someone, that doesn't give you the right to rewrite history.
