Absolutely, he should be trying to make a fight with Kessler or Bute. Or maybe a tune-up with Andrade or Bika first and then Kessler or Bute. Or a rematch with Taylor.

He can call out whoever he wants to but he would get beaten badly by Calzaghe and probably ko'd. If that fight ever happens, all my points on Calzaghe!!

        Froch/Taylor

Look from what I saw, froch was clearly out boxed, taylor showed he has great ability, and shoud have won the fight. However you cant take anything away from froch, bouts are for 12 rounds, nothing less, the aim in boxing is to knock ur rival out, so it doesnt go to the judges and thats what froch did. He has a good chin, strength and alot of heart. I have no doubts calzaghe would UD him, by his constant pressure, he wouldnt knock him out. Froch got balls, just needs a new trainer. Joes a fraud.

Meh. A lot of guys would have a very good chance at beating Calzaghe at this point. I dont care if your Paul Williams, Arthur Abraham, Kelly Pavlik, Carl Froch or Chad Dawson, any elite young fighter, Calzaghe is 37 years old and was KD in both of his last two fights against old men.
If Calzaghe really made a come back against one of these young guns there is a great chance his luck runs out.

This writer is a clown! If Froch hadn't challenged the top fighters he'd probably accuse him of dodging them! Furthermore, Jermaine Taylor is a weak fighter! What's he doing getting gassed halfway down the stretch in every fight? Froch didn't tire at any point and was taking everything Taylor gave him! Could Taylor take what Froch gave him? Could he f**ck!! Froch doesn't have to employ a constant defence! His current style has got him far as it is! Also, what was with the long count? After the knockdown Taylor should not have been allowed to fight, his eyes were in the back of his head! Cheer up though America, maybe one day you'll produce the white champion you crave, meanwhile let the UK show you how it's done!!

according to calzaghe the aim is to throw a bunch of slappy air punches and fool the judges like in the hopkins fight. if he was seriously trying to hit him then that is pathetic.

Probably because his work-rate is ass, that is why his stamina looks so great. Taylor is the one who made the fight, I would have fell asleep if Taylor was so picky about his punches like Froch was.

Taylor was already knocked out by another limited white champion by the name of Pavlik. Why even bring race into it? Just expose your ignorance some more.

Probably because Froch has never fought at such a high level before. It was new ground for him. I guarantee you that he is much better in his next fight.
