I can see it now, get JMM up to 147 so May has all the advandage, in youth and size , YEAH MAY !!

WHUP him real good and warm up that head he can go on to greater prey !! How bout Gerry Penalosa ????? Gerry comes in at 122 but May will make him bigger , get him to 135 , May will probalbly come in at say 148 to make it fair to himself , can't tarnish the image you know, got to keep the nice "0" !! Oh my and then the fight of the year, Legendary Eric Morales , Get him out of retirement for the fight of the YEAR !!! Money Mouth May can have serious talks with HBO, Golden Boy, make millions of dollars. Lets see , this will be his toughest test to date so we need to make sure Eric comes in at the fairest possible weight, of say like 142 to make it even, May comes in at 152 ! Yeah for the hero of many who love CUR DAWGS !!!!!!!!!!!

Ya'll are in a trap and can't get out, have fun, cause if May will stay, one day he will meet somebody his size, that is fast , that can punch and make that chicken dung run run run and might jump the ring while he is running, yall can pat him on the back as he comes by running from da ring and tell him how proud yall are of him cause he's sooooooooooooooo FAST !

May needs to fight Welterweights !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How bout Paul Williams ???? how bout Mosley ??????? how bout Cotto ?????????? how bout Welters????? Chicken**** wants to fight somebody he can whup thats why, so pick on the little boys, like bullys do at school because in the final analysis of things he is chicken at heart.

One guy told me three decades ago about a bulldog , he said he was game, I said how do you know, he said just look at him,

    You figure it out,

    Dr. BoKacky the Medicine Mang
Miguel Cotto had his chance to make it to the majors by beating
Anotonio Margarito with his supposedly "A+" boxing skills, then
fight Oscar De La Hoya for his big chance at stardom and he
blew it, then Manny Pacquiao came in and took Miguel Cotto's
spot and that's the truth. Cotto had his big chance and dropped
the ball giving it up to a lesser fighter that turned out to be
a cheater? So much for A+ skills. Why do you think Cotto left his
uncle? Because Clottey ain't a Jennings and Miguel don't want to
get Margarito'd again because he knows Clottey can possibly whip
his ass if he is not 100% ready. But the Cotto fans make an excuse
about Cotto living a wild night life and having personal problems like
they know this guy personally. Cotto is not trying to blow his chances
    again.

    • No wonder boxing fans are sick of Mayweather Jr. Floyd doesn't even want to lose a pound or two. JMM has giving in to move up 9 pounds more after already having moving up 5 pounds. JMM is in a disadvantage already, but Floyd wants to make sure he has all the advantage to win. He's not too confident in his abilities. Typical FMN.

besides, most hall of fame trainers discover weaknesses in boxers. they iron them out in their boxers and exposes them in opponents. that's their job, and it can be done with or without alcohol on the opponent
OK, so it's a BIG achievement to get a guy drunk enough that he
exposes every flaw he has then come out and challenge him?
But it's not an achievement to fight a bigger man with a bigger
punch at his natural weight and prior to Floyd fighting him had only
been knocked out by the bigger Hopkins & knocked out a big Mayorga
in 5 rds? A split on a guy like that is not unbelievable, besides,
The Leonard/Hagler fight is still debatable, hell them guys are still
at odds about who won the fight AND Hagler retired right after
that because Leonard didn't want to give him a rematch.

if that's true then why call floyd a cherrypicker and not other boxers who do the same thing?

              Hey Grustler,

I don't care if he fights Clottey, thats a good fight, May vs Clottey, even weight, then fight Cotto or Mosley or better Yet just start with Paul Williams and then the winner of Cotto Clottey and ect............

If you claim to be the greatest of all time yer got to fight ALL COMERS !!!!!!!!

First of all you know Cotto got cheated. So your just making up excuses to make your idol seem bigger than Cotto. The truth is Cotto has fought tougher, better and most importantly more dangerous competition then the other fighters. While others play it safe. You're just a big liar that would say anything just to make yourself feel better. Others may buy into your bull****, but those are just ignorant people that want to live in denial just like yourself. You know thats true even if you say otherwise.

                  its a tune-up / set-up fight for pac.

you got the metaphor mixed up... put jmm in SRL's shoes and floyd in hagler's shoes.
i know he wouldn't but he still took an awful lot more risks than hagler. i mean, it's not like leonard didn't slow down too

marquez has spent his last 3 years doing great fights, not in a layoff

that's the whole problem with this fight. you don't use the 2nd best fighter for a tune up, you use a jennings/gomez kind of fighter. heck, he could beat up cintron if he needed a bit of a name in 147

because not every cherry picker proclaims himself the greatest boxer of all time

A liar about what? I have always been vocal about how I feel about
fighters and especially Miguel Cotto. I'm a big liar? How old are you
anyway? I already feel good about myself don't need a bunch of
face less guys on a boxing chatting site to make me feel any better.
Cotto has fought maybe two tougher fights than Floyd at 147
Mosley/Margarito, the rest are or wasn't tough at all. Cotto and
Mayweather share Zab Judah and Cotto got Zab 430 days
after Mayweather and still got his face bust open. I believe Baldomir
and Sharmba Mitchel would have beat Gomez and Jennings. Cotto
is fighting Clottey and I applaud him for that but as much as you
say Floyd hasn't fought tough guys at 147 it's just a two now 3
fight difference. Also you have to remember that Floyd started at
130 so his careers spans longer than Cotto's and his experience in
the ring exceeds Cotto's by far. Cotto has just been fighting at 147
longer I feel Floyd should fight Mosley and Cotto after Pacquiao.
