Dawson made it clear that he would fight Tavoris Cloud. The thing is Cloud doesn't want to get in the ring with Dawson for the simple fact he has been inactive for almost a year. And if he decides to go straight for the championship it will take him another 13 weeks just to get back in the ring again. That would be a year of inactivity, Cloud sure would be bored with all that waiting.

Slightly off-topic: Did you see that Sturm got 1½ million euros for his defense last night? Incredible to get that kind of money when defending against a novice. That would indicate that dawson could earn megabucks if he could lure Erdei in the ring.
