Chad Dawson Willing To Drop To Super Middleweight

IBF light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson is counting down the days until his rematch with Antonio Tarver on May 9. Dawson dominated Tarver last year to win the IBF title. He wasn't thrilled with having to fight Tarver again, but there was a rematch clause and Tarver exercised it. The rematch clause was not immediate. Dawson didn't want the rematch hanging over his head. He wanted to get it out of the way and focus on bigger things. [details]

If Chad can get down to 168 without killing himself the thought of him at that weight is pretty scary. He beats both Froch and Bute IMHO. Kessler would be very interesting indeed.

Dawson supposedly walks around under 180 so he's always in good shape, hard to say if he can make 168 without affecting himself though because his body looks pretty filled out at 175.
