exactly... but i'm afraid mayweather jr. already took what made ricky special. it must be an horrid feeling to be beat in your prime AND outclassed. if ricky doesn't believe in himself 100% he has no chance. the fact he didn't make excuses about the pbf loss indicates that lack of confidence. ricky must believe he lost that one fight because of a mistake he made, the problem is he doesn't, he knows he was outclassed in his prime and that can't be good to you. look at what losing in similar fashion did to corrales' morals or judah's.

Ricky's extremely confident, that's obvious if you watch his interviews and training with an unbiased mind. He had the wrong game plan against Floyd Jnr, and a crap trainer, plus he was fighting an ATG fighter (skills-wise at least). And although outclassed, he put Floyd under a lot more pressure than he was used to in the early rounds, despite having completely the wrong game plan. Nothing to be ashamed of in that loss.

Williams was outclassed in the first Quintana fight, but destroyed Quintana in the rematch, not all bad defeats damage a fighter's confidence - you're highly selective in the examples you choose.

Whether his confidence is justified or delusional is another matter of course - but he is certainly confident.

What Haye meant so simple, that Hatton just haves slim chance to win on May 2! That ODLH loss to Pacman was real, and not because ODLH was over-drained! And that the Hatton hard hitting punches are not actually that hard, but just overhypes!

Any takers to my 5K that Pacman will beat Hatton on 02 May???

True that. He went on a mental breakdown after that Mayweather loss too. Your mind and body have to both coordinate once you step in that ring. Sounds like his mind is boastful enough but will he be able to keep up with the stamina that Pac is so known for. Well see.

If Hatton brings his roughest A game and don't try to outbox Pac, he got a chance to win.

Williams was not outclassed, he couldn't get off. his timing was all wrong and was due to a bad re-hydration process. Add that to the terrible defense he had at the time and ****, recipe for disaster. Ricky is being too nice, too overwhelmed about being in the US and to me he seems just happy to be part of an huge event, enjoying the ride. That's not the mindset imo, he should be there "on a mission". The biggest example, "lets ave'him", i don't think we will hear something as ****y from Ricky this time around.

Hattons best days are behind him, well actually his best day was during the Kotsya win, thats about it. Hatton needs his best ever but really still wont be enough. Can Hatton match the speed and intensity of Pacquiao through the full 12. I doubt that highly due to the fact that Hatton doesnt keep in shape in between fights and balloons up.

it's not what you say it's what you do!you can say anything but can you back it up is the question.ricky has said so much already that if he loses he'll be criticized even more that shows he's very confident!
