When he had beaten Kostya, he had beaten 36-year old , weight-drained fighter, while having the home advantage...

YES, he will need his best to beat Pacquiao!

What else could Haye say? He has size and weight disadvantage with Wlad himself. Size always matters.

obviously haye wants to downplay height, weight and strength, because of his own fight w/ the K-sisters.

I think haye doesn't really think much of hatton, but haye is very conscious of himself in the media... if you catch him mouthing off I bet he'd say hatton would lose.

Thats Hatton biggest win EVER and it was back in 2005. The fight with Kotsya is the exact blueprint on how not to fight Hatton. Kotsya stood in front of Hatton all night long, trying to exchange blow for blow, literally inviting Hatton to maul and come forward. Again Team Pac MAKES DAMN SURE this doesnt happen come Sat. Damn its already this Saturday HELL YA, IM THERE.

i think haye is just downplaying that he has to be his best cuz size isnt evrything in his bout with wlad... and size does make a difference when yer fighting sum1 as big as wlad for the first time in yer career even wen u unified cruiserweight. but yea hatton needs to be his best to win.. but i can see him struggling like crazy and i have a feeling hes gonna try to box cuz last time he was all brawling vs floyd he got owned

Tszyu was not weight drained, and although 36, he was still rated P4P #3 and was coming off an impressive win, so his age was no more relevant that it was in Mosley's case against Margarito. And it didn't go to the cards, so home advantage meant very little: Tszyu was used to fighting in front of crowds supporting the other guy and was professional and experienced enough not to let that bother him. Haters can play your game with any fighter's resume and frequently do - people post similar posts all the time claiming Morales was weight drained and shot in the second and third fights against Pac, and the only thing revisionist posts of this type show is that those people are haters. I'm dissapointed that you should play that game.

But nevertheless it's true that Hatton will have to improve considerably on his performance against Tszyu if he's to stand a chance of beating Pac, which is why he hired Floyd Snr.

And Trainhard is right the Kostya had the wrong game plan to beat Hatton.

Pacquiao will not stand infront of Ricky. Roach already said, they plan on using ALOT of lateral movement as they did with Oscar. Keep Ricky turning so he can't set to do his leap hooks and other crazy bs. But, who knows, this will be a great fight.

pretty obvious that Haye's opinion has alot to do with him being the smaller man vs Wlad.
