When Ponce beat Penalosa I knew he was a fraud. Cong**** to JuanMa for beating the **** out of him and exposing him. I think JuanMa wanted some practice after knocking out fighters in under 3 rounds. Penalosa was perfectly happy to be his punching bag!

juanma's bodypunching is better and juanma has better stamina... he wasn't even breathing hard during the rounds and he broke 122 lb records

Yes it was ....i really was a bit apprehensive.with all the 1st round KO...........GP was a perfect opponent for juanma.durable and game veteran..........defensive too

gerry is a fearless 36yr old, 2 division champion who needs to move up in weight just so he can get quality opponents and enshrine himself in boxing history "got exposed??"

Penalosa was not there to win, he was there as punching bag! It seems he don't want to hurt the big boy. Though most of the shots of JuanMa has blocked by Penalosa by showing his incomparable defensive skills, but so much respect to JuanMa will not promise him to win. I think the stoppage is wrong at that time because Penalosa at that round was still strong while JuanMa beginning to wear off, and Penalosa could a little bit freely exchanged shots with JuanMa. What I think is, Penalosa would take Juan Ma down in the very late rounds, but alas, stopped by Roach! Well, congaratulaions to JuanMa! you're a very good fighter! And you're the man at present!

To Gerry, what you gonna do now? I think you need more offensive activity, because your defense is superb already! Two more fights at your weight level and retire!

it's not bothersomme if a pinoy boxer got whacked, cant win them all of course.
pinoy boxers are marching up to be recognised... more are training hard to be there. maybe you will change your perspective on them by that time....
filipinos are very warm peolpe, easy to get along with, and most are with humility. try to be a friend to any of them and the cloud in your eyes get removed. i assure yo.....
