I thought this fight would have been more competitive. Props to Juanma for dominating such a tough veteran.. and to Penalosa for taking monster shots and not folding..

When Ponce beat Penalosa I knew he was a fraud. Cong**** to JuanMa for beating the **** out of him and exposing him. I think JuanMa wanted some practice after knocking out fighters in under 3 rounds. Penalosa was perfectly happy to be his punching bag!

juanma was heavily favored to win, and he lived to that expectation.
he should find more interesting fyts with lots of mooolah...he's legit!
kudos to gerry "the fearless", who many doesn't know, moved up in weight just to get quality opponents. gerry can still go back to his division really.
he lost to a very promissing boxer in jaunama......hats off to both!!

I knew this fight would not be competitive, JuanMa is in another league above fighters like Penalosa.

Juanma did a good ting, here he never load up for a Power Punch, he never seeked the KO. He did good, and Juanma have a very goood chin because he git clocked heavy like 7 times, and he didnt even flinch.

Penalosa, the smaller fighter going up in weight, lasted 9 rounds when his trainer threw the towel.

Ponce, same weight as JuanMa, lost by 1st round KO. And you heard the commentators that most or some media had Gerry beating Ponce.

Juanma outweighed Penalosa by 2 pounds. They were similar i size.

Also most commentators and most of the media had JMM beating Pac. Does it matter? Fact is Juanma whooped Gerry's ass. No need to try and draw attention to De leon.
