pacquiao was at 126 for a little over a year.

guzman didn't rank in the top 10 at 126 'til AFTER pacquiao already jumped to 130.

guzman didn't become top ranked at 130 'til after pacquiao , morales , barrera and marquez left 130 or retired.

only an idiot would say pacquiao ducked guzman.

guzman's first solid win was barrios barely 2-3 years ago.

there's no reason for anyone to fight guzman... maybe if guzman would've beaten nate campbell... to bad he couldn't make weight.

lol the second fight happend 9 mos later and like what I have said Erik was wining the fight for the first five rounds before PAC went up to another level, it was PAC's doing that TOASTED Erik in the fight ...

before the Marco rematch, Barera have just fought JMM in close contest if not for the 4 point swing, could have won the fight .... how could that be unnecessary??

keep an open mind and learn the sport !

Surely not now. All risk, no reward. But post-Soto....

                  1) Are you saying that Erik Morales was prime in the second morales fight? You seem to be forgetting about Erik bloating up like a frikkin pufferfish, losing to Raheem, and then draining down to fight Pac. Was it Pac elevating... or Erik fading badly.

I guess Erik was also prime for that third fight ("nah, I'll just sit here. Wink-wink")

                  2) MAB was WELL past his prime for the 2nd Pac fight. It was unnecessary bc there were SEVERAL fighters who would have given a more competitive bout.

Stop being a blind nutrider. You belittle Erik AND MAB by not acknowledging their declines.

nah, even post-soto guzman was not a hot commodity.

guzman's greatest win was against barrios. he needed to capitalize on that win.

soto's reputation isn't even effected by the guzman lost that's show how irrelevant guzman is.

right now, its too late for guzman to get pac... he should go after valero. I know if he talked ***** to valero, valero would take the bait.

mab and morales were not prime when pac beat them, but there were not that far from prime.

raheem is just a bad style match up for morales.
