Pacquaio made 135 easily, and could have continued making that weight. Matter of fact the only reason he left it was to fight Oscar for money. He was scheduled to fight either Soto or Valero before Oscar challenged him.

He didn't had an easy time making weight, Freddie even said he had trouble losing 3 or more pounds the day of the weigh-in. NO, Soto and Valero are just options, nothing definite.

Your forgetting that boxing has a business side. Arum would rather put Pac in against Morales who has a larger fan base and support then with Guzman who was a no name at the time.

Seriously, get your head out of your a$$ and think about it for second before you post dumb threads.
Do you understand what the word "forum" means?

Does Diaz have a bigger fan base?

we were talking about TOP LEVEL OPPONENT here, which Erik was for PAC-EM 1, 2 & 3, GREAT fighters PRIME a vaguer than regular boxers, I am NOT saying he is then BUT I bet while you were watching the second fight around R5 you may have thought that EM would WIN IT the same as the first fight, truth to be told Erik faded because he got HIT by PAC the most shot in one round in R6 of the second fight...

the MAB rematch would have been more competitive IF MAB elected to do so, but he was contended to JUST survive the bout ...
You lost all credibility right there. Go away.

"I felt so powerful," Guzman said. "I had 11 months off but I showed my speed, my ability. If I had a fight before this one, he's not going to see me at all. He's a very strong fighter, but very ordinary. I want Pacquiao. I 'm the best 130 pounder out there. I'm the best Dominican fighter ever."

Despite the victory in his second title defense, Guzman (28-0, 17 KOs) shouldn't expect a call from Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum, who also promotes Soto (43-6-2, 27 KOs).

"If he was thinking Pacquiao, he took himself out of the sweepstakes," Arum said. "He's not appealing to the people. I gotta do 350,000 homes (on pay-per-view) on these fights. I'm lucky I do 150,000 with him. It's more than winning the fight. You have to entertain the people. Who's going to buy this kid? The first six rounds it looked like a fight of the year. The last six rounds, he turned the crowd against him. You have to have people wanting to buy him. The last six rounds he stunk it out."

Guzman, of course, wants a shot at Pacquiao, who is due to select his March 15 opponent Thursday night while having Thanksgiving dinner at Arum's Las Vegas home.
"I've always wanted Pacquiao," he said. "The world wants it."

When asked if he thought he would get him, Guzman smiled and said, "I don't think so.
I heard Guzman been drinking too many Presidentes and snoring too much perico, is that true?
