That wasn't in El Jesus's post, you're confusing him with Ch@mpBox@PR.

I said that El Jesus's post was factual.

The whole race arguement is kind of silly, but I can say one thing. Anyone that claims that Pac was the best at 135 because he beat David Diaz (the weakest title holder) then they must also say that Roy Jones was the best heavyweight for beating Ruiz (the weakest title holder).

david diaz - 34-1 wins over santa cruz and erik morales

you guys act like nate's resume is so superior. if santa cruz had gotten the nod over casa , david would be lineal champ at 135. lol

by the way , the diaz fight was planned before pacquiao fought marquez in march of 2008.

campbell barely won against juan that same month. the diaz fight with pacquiao was june.

nate didn't get to the top of the rankings 'til barely 3 months before pacquiao fought david and certainly after arum had already decided to have pacquiao fight diaz for the wbc 135 belt.

end of 2007 ring rankings at 135

I feel like every year on boxingscene, the distinction between indian, european white and black has to be clarified on here because of the fact that latin america is so racially mixed up.

Some people show clear features of a native race, white latins, black latins, indios etc. Some people are more mixed, thus its impossible to tell. But guys like gamboa, guzman and miranda its ****ing obvious what their lineage is. If you cant see that, i dont know what to tell you.
For some of the same reasons you mentioned why some countries deny their Black ancestry, Filipinos always claim they have Spanish blood, even though 97% of the population is pure Asian. They pretend to have Spanish because everyone on TV, in the Government, or in all the big business corporations are lighter skinned with some Spanish mixed it, so it makes them feel "higher class" if they claim not being pure Asian. They spend millions of peso's per year on skin whitening products to sell the lie even further. The amount of racism among their own race is astonishing!
