It may sound weird or ******, but for me you have to beat atleast 2 or 3 top guys in that division to consider you the best in that division, even tho you defeated the division champ. Styles makes fight, and any boxer can lose to any body any giving night!!!!!!!!
I'd have Bradley ranked 2 if Hatton wins, and ranked 3 if Pac wins (behind Pac and Hatton).

And its OK with me, because eveybody have their criteria.

For me you have to have more than one fight at a weight to be consider the best at that weight.

But obviously if Pac wins, he will be the champ of the division, because Hatton is the current champ!!!!!!!!!!!

its a shame the winner will probably not fight Bradley with JMM stepping up and a floyd return. It would be nice to leave no doubt what so ever about who's the king of 140.
But given that all 4 of them are nearing the end of their careers I cant see any of them fighting Bradley, except possibly JMM.

Pacquiao would definetely be the number one in Jr welter weight if he wins against Hatton. Hatton holds the lineal JR Welterweight title.

you beat the Lineal champ, of course, you are going to be the Lineal champ.....plain and simple.....

that is how lineal champions are established by the Ring Mag.....

unless you are a HATER and a beginner in boxing history.....

Yes, without question. He would be the lineal champ and 'Ring' title holder and that makes him #1. It's up to the likes of Bradley to try and take that away.

Bradley will get his shot; he just needs to knock over a couple of mandatories to keep sharp while waiting for the whole Hatton/Pacquiao/Mayweather/JMM thing for undisputed p4p pwnage to play out. The guy is just in the wrong division at the wrong time.

I'd like to see him KTFO of Bradley after he KOs Hatton. Then he would be undisputed at 140 and P4P #1.
