DURAN STARTED AT LIGHTWEIGHT AND WENT ALL THE WAY UP TO SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT.
I am not coddling Mayweather...Floyd can do what he wants.
he has no restrictions from me....
If Floyd feels he can beat dawson at a catchweight..
then you know what why not try it...
I do not give floyd restrictions say all he has to stay at one weight class...when i know he stayed at one weight class fOR 70% of his career.
At this point I just want to see floyd fight Great fighters and big names...
not up and comers.
PERIOD.
People want to see Floyd fight the very best fighters who are ACTIVELY fighting. ****, Shane Mosley is 38 years old and is still fighting the top fighters in Boxing, you don't see him chasing down Tommy Hearns for a fight.Comment

But the thing is YOU specifically always state Floyd is this smaller guy compared to other fighters in his division, but yet he can skip almost 3 weight classes to fight Tito and it would be a big win on his part because Tito outweighs him by close to 30lbs? Do you honestly believe that Tito Trinidad is even on the level of Roy Jones competitively who he himself isn't a fraction of what he used to be (the #1 P4P)?

The whole thing is Floyd wants to make huge bank in a tune-up fight. But if Floyd is THE draw ya'll claim he is and being Floyd is being very reluctant to fighting at 140, why not fight at least one of the top 10 WWs (like maybe 8-10) and just put on a show. Will him not fighting a big marquee name in a tune-up fight prove he's not as big a draw as he claims to be on his own? That's kinda what it smells like to me.
It's ok for him to climb up in weight to fight an over the hill LHW but he can't fight a decent WW for a tune up to set up for a mega fight in the Fall?Comment

Collazo brings no money to the table. People forget the money and financial side of fights.Comment
