No it wasn't. Some people thought Shane won that fight. No way in hell did Oscar win 7 rounds against Floyd...I'm not sayin Floyd skooled Oscar though.

He fought and beat other top 10 Welterweights. Do you really not know that? Mosley, Margarito, Judah, Quintana...........

He was a top Welter and he is still in the mix to be. To me he needs to beat Clottey to be truely back as one of the top guys. Beating Jennings was a good confidence booster but he has yet to prove that he is the same fighter (imo), but if he can beat Clottey (which I think he should do if he is mentally there) I would consider him again a top welter.

He lost to Margarito though, how is that not a minus on his career? Even if someone thinks that Margarito cheated, getting beat on like that with loaded gloves for 11 rounds might have lasting damage. Atleast until he proves he is the same fighter as before if not better.

This is a fight that would go the full 12, I would favour Mayweather but if Cotto can stop Mayweather from fighting in the pocket and pot shotting his way to victory he can steal a close decision

I think going to Floyds body only opens up cotto for Short in the pocket uppercuts from Floyds right hand.... Ive seen him do it to many times to opponents that try to goto the body... add in Cottos Ear muff defense... just has FAIL written all over it.
