Pure Hyperbole. Cotto has not done anything recently (last 3 fights Gomez, L Margarito, Jennings). If Cotto can get by Clottey I will consider him a top welter again, he still has not proven that he is not damaged goods (getting in a brawl with your trainer/uncle makes me doubt ones mental stability).

I think Cotto could edge him out. He's not your typical brawler and sorta waits for you to make mistakes, but obviously with Floyd that'll be a hell of a job to overcome. But I think a lot of people have underestimated Cotto's chances against Floyd simply because of Floyd's previous performances against other fighters instead of looking how or what he'd do to beat Cotto.

Both guy can win, but I think Cotto has a much better shot at beating Floyd than he's given.

My thoughts exactly.... theres a difference between hoping something happens, and the reality of the situation.

Cotto makes Floyd fight and takes him out in the later rounds.

Well, what exactly does Floyd do?

If im being pretty honest with you guys, I'm a fan of both but floyd has the upper hand in stamina, chin, speed, defense, footwork, counterpunching.

cotto has the upper hand in his offense, body punching, maybe cutting of the ring. Floyd is a very underrated body puncher I would say too, and he beats people in their own game most of the time.

I think it'd look like the DLH fight, but a little more competitive.

Floyd would handle Cotto. If Cotto tries brawling Floyd he gets made to look like a fool. If he tries outboxing him he 117:113
