Why doesnt PBF fight Mosley at 147 in July?

I'm not sure Cotto called him out. He just said he would fight any fighter his promoter, Bob Arum, tells him to. The key here is Arum: Arum was only willing to sacrifice Margarito to Floyd...but not Cotto. The same may happen with Pac. We'll see.
Floyd wasn't waisting time and was moving fast towards O$scar. He wanted $hane as well but $hane didn't want the fight at the time. Not sure why but maybe because older fighters have to take more time off and have a "feel" for when it should happen...not to excuse Shane, but it's a possibility. Shane wants it now because he has too. Divorce will do that to you. Plus, he knows Floyd had a long layoff and might not be the same fighter on his return.
I think Cotto wants him but Cotto is going to have to demand Arum to shut the **** up and make the fight.
Floyd's about MONEY and isn't going to take a low pay fight if he can get more elsewhere. Not a big fan of that but I understand it.
Personally, I would like fighters to go back to the way boxing used to be with fighters fighting more often; at least every 3 months. When you fight once or twice a year, you become more picky and timing is more than likely going to be bad to make good matchups.Comment

Floyd Challenged Mosley when mosley when in his prime, on top of his career, fresh off a dlh win and mosley said no, so your theory fails pathetically.Mayweather will not fight Mosley because he's still very good and he's the about the same size.
Floyd wants to play it safe, and only fight opponents he has a reach advantage over.
By forcing a smaller fighter to move up, he's giving himself a big advantage he wouldn't have against Mosley.Comment

If floyd could make more fighting Shane hed fight Shane. He makes more fighting Pac obviously, and probably the more with JMM which will also set up the Pac fight better. At worst case hed make the same fighting Shane as he would JMM, but common sense tells you to fight the easier fight for even money.Mosley just came off a huge win. Mosley is also free this summer.
I know JMM is real marketable right now and kicking ass at 135 but I just dont see him being much a threat to PBF. He aint going to outbox PBF and he isnt going to be able to war with him. PBF does everything he does better, and is faster and bigger.
Mosley is a real 147 pounder and the fight would be extremely marketable. Plus Mosley is with goldenboy promotions and it would be an easy fight to make cause PBF and DLH are cool unlike Arum who has issues with PBF.
I would rather this fight gets made.Comment

please Mayweather went up in weight and cotto had to follow him, but then floyd retire hiding from all the welter weights , because he couldn't move up in weight anymore to avoid the welterweights he reached his limit.Comment

That is wrong. He challenged him when Mosley was at 135 and Mayweather was at 130 and still mad green. It was supposed to be a "battle of rising stars" or something like that. Before DLH in 2000..
Floyd would've went from 135 to 147 for a championship fight? Who is he, Juan Manuel Marquez?Comment
