Gamboa got tons of amateur experience. He can fight better opponents and this step up is not that "big". I believe Gamboa got real talent to defeat Caballero. If he doesn't is due to his corner. I believe he could benefit from a better trainer/team. Plus a defeat may help to get his head out of his arse and start taking fights more seriously. Caballero doesn't even get to 130 on fight night. He's a skinny dude.


Caballero earned his stripes fighting all over the world. Went to Thaliand to get his title against the hometown guy, Venezuela to defend it against the hometown guy, then Canada to grab the IBF title against the hometown guy.


Gamboa got mad skills but don't think if he gets dropped, it's gonna be that easy to get up. Cab knows how to close the show when he's got his man hurt.

I have nothing to say, it's just unnatural hatred when it comes to Caba. I dislike watching 6'0 fighters pound on 5'4 fighters. It's like when Edner Cherry fought Monty Meza Clay....it was a ****in freak show in there. Maybe MMC should grow a couple of inches or something.

I respect that he earns his **** the hard way...and I liked that he beat up on Ponce a few years back...but he's just too ****in big and rangy for these lil guys. I wanna see someone deck him. Sorry.

you are saying that gamboa hasnt fight anybody yet. and when hes gonna fight somebody, you say "he doesnt deseve that fight" .....come on give me a break...by the way, in the last fight gamboa look exelent, rojas didnt have a chance with him
